Yes. Need more roster flexibility (guys with options) anyway. Milner/Gustave/Sanchez/File. Small will be in the mix soon and perhaps will be back and forth a bit to stay stretched out. Carrying Urena is just impractical if he's not really good.

I think a Cain DFA is the right move at this point. If they are taking a chance at some kind of spark, I guess they have to try David Dahl. Otherwise, it would be a mistake to bring him up now expecting offense, but defensively Turang can actually platoon with Taylor in CF and take Peterson's IF LHB roster spot.

Is the 13 pitcher limit in effect starting May 1? If so, they need to remove two pitchers. The only two pitchers with options that make sense are Milner and Gustave. I think they'd ideally like to have a roster spot or two to shuffle between all the 40-man pitchers with options. That will inevitably occur with some kind of injuries, but if they value the most roster flexibility immediately, Urena may be the odd man out. Would be a tough break given he's pitched well enough to be on the roster. Whether they can send one down for May 1 or not until Urias comes back, Brosseau or Hiura has to be the position player out. Peterson has been bad offensively, but being a versatile LHB without options, he's got a longer leash.

Hired an NCAA approved agent, so has the option to return. Odds are high he's gone. Greg Elliott has entered the transfer portal. Don't believe anyone expected him to be back, but perhaps surprising he's going to play a sixth year in college. 2022 commit from NAIA champion and POY Zach Wrightsil from Loyola-New Orleans, in for his final season. Any history of NAIA transfers succeeding in major conference NCAA, and in their first season? 2023 commit from 4 star/top 100 SG Zaide Lowery out of Missiouri.

Was that really great baserunning? Seems he assumed the throw would be going home and was a sitting duck if the first baseman who cut it off was paying attention. I think I'm going with luck.
