I'd hope Playoff Craig has Peralta in the bullpen today. Hasn't pitched in forever, will be another two days off before game 3 or three before game 4. He could certainly go an inning, two if they have Lauer start game 3.
Well, CC's approach the these last couple of weeks only matters if they aren't ready to play next weekend. If they aren't, it's certainly open to criticism. If they are, none of this matters.
This was my thought as well. And by potential option I mean something like 5-10% shot, but may as well see if he can make it a tougher decision in games that don't matter. It honestly may simply be a way for the Brewers to do Keston a favor and have him accompany the team out to Los Angeles so his mom can see him play. Quite likely. And great news on that front: Adam McCalvy @AdamMcCalvy The very best news from Keston Hiura this morning: His mom is officially in remission. He is hoping she can be at Dodger Stadium this weekend.
He's been nearly as terrible in AAA as we was in MLB since the last demotion. I guess it's a rest move since they'd rather not play Adames and it gets Wong and Escobar some time off as well. At least, hopefully nobody went and punched another wall.
He's been really good for Nashville. Though he's a 31 year old AAAA player. Need some new life injected into the bullpen. Had to be between Rea, Barker, or the ballsy choice, Small. With any luck, they made the right pick.
Was thinking of the college football reporter a couple weeks ago who set up in the middle of the concourse after the team won then had a tizzy because drunk fans kept getting in her shot. Meanwhile, we have players literally pouring a bottle of champagne over Sophia as she's doing an interview and she's completely unphased. What a pro.
