  1. I’m usually a realist that people call a pessimist, but good lord to those of you upset with only 3/4 from a contender on the west coast. Every team in the NL has multiple holes. Yes, we need a catcher and starting pitcher. If we get an Arcia and Santana or Braun going and an upgrade at catcher this lineup will start improving quite a bit. I feel a trade or two still coming.... let’s enjoy the ride.
  2. I mean, I cheer when I'm at a Brewers game and they're doing something exciting. I don't really let the bad player previous games really keep me from being excited about great things that happened on that particular day. I'm the same, the Giants are probably my third most hated team (Cards, Cubs). They've booed Braun the most after Bonds, and it would be nice if a title fell into our lap like the three they have.
  3. I'm glad their fans are so excited to barely win 1/4 games against what was a horribly struggling Brewers team. Hopefully the Giants don't luck their way into another championship.
  4. Yeah, between innings limits, Miley, and Guerra we need a starter
  5. I’d have to imagine that will correct itself. If Corey keeps this up he’ll be top 50 without a doubt In the offseason list.
  6. That is trying to fit the story to the results and nothing more. This claim is just as silly seeing as you are basing it on the same amount of evidence...none. Braun deserves his starts.....there's no way Jesus rebounds for a sub-par week like he has 4-5 times in the past few months.
  7. Barnes to SF for Smith Nottingham for Realmuto Woodruff for de Grom. Fair? The last time I played "video games" in 95' that would've worked.
  8. He's a defensive upgrade over Thames late in a blowout. Don't see the issue. He's a pretty good defensive OF. I get that, I'm just sick of seeing him. I would have kept Broxton even though I don't think he's good at all offensively. I guess that's when we expand in September that we can afford specialty roles. On a side note, who would have thought we'd win these first three? Baseball doesn't make sense
  9. Double switch, pinch hitter-I don't care. Stop having Perez play the outfield. I get he's our utility player. That doesn't mean he's out there every other day and starting.
  10. It's certainly concerning. I can't think of a Brewer that I've ever seen do this as frequently as Arcia. Really makes me think he doesn't see pitches well. I wonder if his vision needs a fix a la Corey Hart Arcia reminds me of Pence, just watching him bat. At least he's not as alien/ bug looking
  11. He's trying too hard. Hardly seeing strikes these days. That's on Shaw, Braun, etc. Oh come on. Even the Giants announcers were talking about how Aguilar isn't seeing strikes... how is that "oh come on " worthy? He's trying to hack at anything as a result. It happens without protection all the time.
  12. He's trying too hard. Hardly seeing strikes these days. That's on Shaw, Braun, etc.
  13. This is where Shaw needs to do something eventually
  14. I'd have to imagine he heads to Colorado Springs and sees the Arizona Fall League. That Hiura/ Erceg/ Ray combo may be a fun thing to watch in Milwaukee soon. Erceg seems to be figuring things out as well. Now, which one is traded in the next five days?
  15. As long as we add an impact bat and league average starter this makes sense. Otherwise, improvIng your Best area and ignoring especially the lineup makes no sense.
  16. Peralta has one bad start and we’re on him... the offense has what, 180 out of the last 200 games of being pathetic? Get these bums out of here. Peralta needs to build on bad games, not go back down. Who are we gonna get, the two or three bad starters on the market?
  17. But he’s due for a 100-100 streak don’t you know? .229 is better than .228
  18. It just always seems like the Brewers would rather go with the Wade Mileys and Brent Suters of the world over our top pitching prospects. Just look at how they've treated Brandon Woodruff. I'll never understand it. What exactly has Brandon Woodruff done to make you think he should be starting? He's been quite the disappointment compared to some of these other pitchers coming up in my eyes. Well, there’s a line of Thinking that when a guy is pulled Back and forth from the minors To the majors and starting every two months then throwing relief twice a week then pitching in Colorado that he’s not going to succeed. He’s a young power pitcher and needs consistency. I’d have Peralta, Burnes, and woodruff all in the rotation now. We can’t score so let them learn.
  19. Any chance ray sees AAA soon? Looks like he’s living Up to the hype recently. Could be a truly special player
  20. One of the only Negative statements I disagreed with in the last week was the talk of Yelich not being good enough. Yeah, I hate .300 hitters with improving power and great OBP. He’s 26 and could develop those power numbers a lot.
