  1. Felt the same thing about Perez for years. Guys you’d think would be quick and they take an hour getting there.
  2. ... it’s been two games this year. He’s been great and like I’ve stated before, I’m hoping he’s not going to turn back into a pumpkin but it’s been two games. It would however be exciting if he is truly this type of pitcher to pair with Woodruff.
  3. Because that wall is actually in Chicago. I have seen about 3 pitches tonight and didn’t realize that until just now when I flipped it back on. Whoops!
  4. I enjoy a Goose Island beer here and there but why are they a sponsor at Miller Park with “Chicago’s Beer” written on our outfield wall?
  5. If Cain walked away for good, I’d be okay with it. He will only be a year older next year.
  6. Yeah, teams need time to gel. This group may or may not get to that point but I think they would’ve been fine under regular circumstances.
  7. I’m not even talking bat. Just simply playing the position of SS. Sogard has no business ever playing there. It’s bad enough we have a little league arm at 2B. Having it at SS is just ridiculous.
  8. I mean, he's literally been replacement level from 2018 through 2020. You're arguing just to argue. Sogard isn't good. Arica has been a okay SS that is leading the team in hitting and yet, finds himself on the bench for a journeyman that got hot last season so Counsell just had to have him back.
  9. Arcia has his own warts but he's at least a major league SS. If you think otherwise, the conversation can end there.
  10. Who else on this roster do you suggest replacing him? I’d rather play Arcia all 60 games than see Sogard and that rag arm he has at SS. It’s bad enough we have Hiura at 2B with that noodle arm.
  11. The Brewers have 28 runs in 7 games (4 runs/game) and that’s with Yelich basically doing nothing. They’ve been shut out once and scoring 1-run in another game (27 runs in 5 games or 5.4 runs/gm). Very small sample size with all of this stuff.
  12. I know batting average isn’t the stat that’s super popular anymore but it sure would be nice to have some guys in the lineup that carried higher lines. This would go a long way to having more consistency but I know that’s not exactly the trend with how we go about finding players.
  13. .242 RISP (8 for 33) for the season. Not great but not awful.
