Who played a large role of getting us into contention? Don't believe for a second that our minor league system is in "shambles" either. This is such an overreaction to a bad start to a weird season. -

I like that Ross didn't panic and allowed Yu to get after the next batter. Thought for sure he'd walk out of the dugout after the homer.

That's my thinking too. People say he should be given a shot. He has been given a shot. Two of them actually and he crapped the bed both times. We know what we have with Anderson and Lindblom. With Burnes the upside is tremendous and its up to this staff to get it out of him. Sometimes talent just never lives up to their ability. It happens quite often actually. Meanwhile guys like Sogard who look like their in little league have a 10-year career because they figure out how to get the most out of their own ability.

The lack of consistency will keep him from ever being in our rotation. Million dollar arm, ten cent head is my thoughts.

Erik Kratz is still catching games in the MLB at age 40. And for the Yankees. Crazy stuff.

The Brewers better make plans to find another high quality bat because Hiura just may not be it. He looks like a #5-6 hitter that will sometimes be hot.

He managed to not crap the bed after looking like it might happen the first couple innings. Still, two straight relatively short starts by our two lefties in the rotation isn't ideal. To be fair, he is still being stretched out a bit after having the finger issue.

The same Shaw who no one around here wanted to give another shot to, when we had a Moustakas-sized hole at 3B this offseason? Correct. Although he was done with us as well. He was mentally fried here.

Moustakas- hurt but was doing well thru 7 games Thames- OPS in the .500’s Grandal- OPS in the .600’s Shaw- smashing the ball

If the roster was built for 162, fine. But use it for the 60. Set your lineup, stop jacking it around and get them in a rhythm. It’s just not the time for irregular at bats.

If Urias was going to play he should be for Arcia who is 0-10 with 6K agains Yu. Sogard has a .825 OPS in 24 at bats. Pina is only 0-2 vs. him so he must sit every time he pitches.
