.450 SLG % and .800 OPS for his career so far ... the Brewers could use a hitter with those stats on this year's team I'd say. Career numbers do not mean that is what you’re going to get, unfortunately. He’s really had one stellar season that helps inflate his career numbers a bit with a few solid ones before that. Then he fell off the cliff and hasn’t found his way back. He’s just not a very good hitter on top of being a lousy fielder. He’s just not good.
He plays L/R splits pretty religiously. And with this roster he’s been given, he should. Although at some point you just have to play Urias and develop him.
Domingo Santana ... I wish we had him ... 30 HR's, .280 plus average, gets walks, we trade him for a backup ... Santana is better than Garcia, IMHO. You should really look up his numbers. Hell, I wasn’t even sure he was on a big league team still.
I can understand that but honestly if the sport is too dangerous to play 15ish games in a sling/fall scenario, than it’s probably too dangerous to be playing.
We have played 13 games this year and we have seen Hader pitch in 3 innings. Limiting his innings has sure happened. Might as well not be on the team at this point.
Scott Frost looking at other options to play this season. Does he even have that ability as the head coach of Nebraska? Seems like he's puffing his chest to get players to see he "really" wanted to play.
Seeing now that they are using Hader in a traditional closers role, I’d love if we traded him and get some great pieces in return. I thought he was going to be weaponized a bit more than he’s being used. Can always go find a closer. It’s not like he’s lights out in that role anyways.
