  1. Fouled a ball off his leg. For some reason it hurt more than it probably should so he exited the game after sitting on the ground for awhile.
  2. I think that a good year from Coan makes the 2020 decision a lot easier. I think it just makes it tough to put Mertz on the bench another year. All the hype he gets in Wisconsin that is a rough picture to paint. Wouldn't shock me to see him go elsewhere if Coan has some good success this season. The kid is talented and someone will play him.
  3. You don't have to post about any payrolls or any dollar figure for that matter. Just admit that you went off the rails about our owner and have since come back to earth on it. All posters are wrong around here on things but you have made your name mud because of how you handle being wrong. Amazed that you don't see that yet.
  4. Chase Anderson- 22 Starts: 10 runs- 1 time 6 runs- 1 time 5 runs- 1 time 4 runs- 1 time 3 runs- 3 times 2 runs- 11 times 1 run- 2 times 0 runs- 3 times Or: 3 or less runs 19 out of 23 starts. 2 or less 15 out of 23 starts. Take out the disaster 10-run game and his ERA is probably around 3.80 I think the worry about this guy might be overblown a bit. He's a pretty reliable pitcher.
  5. 6-2 record in Craigtember.
  6. Padres stink so I don’t expect much there but nice to catch Arizona and gain a game on the Phillies.
  7. Up to .260 for Grisham after entering the day at .222 and his OPS went from .683 to .772
  8. Just poor pitching right there. Attack batters with a lead.
  9. And if he yanked pitches right away, people would complain he didn't give guys opportunities to work out of it. Or that we are over taxing our pen. Or probably writing that he needs a bench coach to do something! Lol, hopefully, you see the point. Nope we don't. Probably should speak for yourself here. I know YOU don't see the point so I will explain it for you so you don't go to bed wondering tonight. Fans will complain about anything and everything. Even though CC has proven himself to be very good at handling a pen, especially in September, we will question him. It is okay to poke fun at us fans that do it as we are not in his shoes for a very good reason... we are not qualified to do his job. I mean a perfect example is we get a 5-run lead and the first thing out of your mouth is a dig at CC for using Nelson. Lol, I mean it is just too comical sometimes.
  10. He's facing AAA pitching. He's right where he left off.
  11. My biggest beef with CC is he is too slow to yank a guy who doesn't have it cuz he doesn't have anyone else up just in case. And if he yanked pitches right away, people would complain he didn't give guys opportunities to work out of it. Or that we are over taxing our pen. Or probably writing that he needs a bench coach to do something! Lol, hopefully, you see the point.
  12. Yes, Counsell the major league bufoon that doesn't know how to manage a bullpen is at it again. That crazy cat just keep lucking himself into September wins!
  13. Me wonders if Arcia makes that play. Me thinks that he does. Hustle on back Orlando.
  14. They brought in Braun to PH against the lefty and then the Marlins brought in the righty. So we used up Braun really early, and Thames is out of the game and we got nothing in return? I'd have still went with Thames there and saved Braun for later in the game. tinker-tinker-tinker Going to be down Hader, Braun, and Thames as this team is either barely ahead or behind heading to the last three innings. Just not a good decision.
  15. And now a black hole behind Yelich because Braun can't actually play right now. Good move.
  16. If Anastasio was any sort of owner himself, he would have flown in some Brewers fans so our team has people making noise for them.
  17. Interesting from you who bad-mouthed our current owner many times on these same message boards. You know, the winningest owner we have ever had. But yeah, please keep trying to lecture others on here.
  18. I don't think I would have taken Thames bat out of this game. He's been one of the more steady players lately.
  19. We need runs. Can't imagine Hader is available tonight. Need more distance.
  20. Be careful ... between this and the "Bud Selig isn't a deity" talk, someone is gonna be upset. It's so strange to me that someone who hates our current owner loves Selig so much. I just find it odd. But yes, Freitas is no bueno. Glad he figured out AAA pitching by 30 years old though.
  21. Nice catch by Cooper. Perez had a nice approach that AB. Consistency is his problem. Wants to be a hacker and just shouldn't be.
  22. Going to a game there must be peaceful but also boring as can be. What a lousy atmosphere for a pro sport.
