  1. Flip Braun and Moose and insert Saladino at SS and you probably have it.
  2. Fun fact- we didn’t blow money on Kimbrel.
  3. Nova and Colome would be solid. What’s a good comp for a trade?
  4. His value may never be higher. Once the league figures him out, he may end up being a bust.
  5. I still wouldn’t buy too hard. This team is very capable but the holes are large enough that a big splash may not cover them. I’d do a couple of minor moves to see if some guys with new scenery and a playoff hunt can over perform for the last few months. If the prices dropped or a team was going to send a huge part of their salary for like a Greinke deal, then it might make some sense for a splash.
  6. This keeps getting better and better. Mod Removed I’ll just let ya know that it was totally tongue in cheek about Chase. I also was joking about Braun playing SS just to let you know. There is no obsession with selling and never has been. Discussion about selling, on a message board, with a team that has tons of holes, makes plenty of sense even if you can’t wrap your head around it. It shouldn’t have to be explained. Nor should you get so worked up over it. Did you know that you can sign players you trade away the season prior? There’s no rule against it. So even in your scenario of having them on the team next year could happen even if you did end up selling. Which again, I’ve stated numerous times that it most likely wouldn’t happen even before beating the Cubs twice. Me? Naw... never.
  7. Not being condescending at all, but you'd really give up 2 of those 3 or all three for a rental in Wheeler and a schizophrenic bullpen arm?? I would rather put that on the table for Robbie Ray to be honest. Idk, I know Arcia sucks, and Burnes has been bad this year, but he is young, has a power arm and tons of control left. I'm all for trading Arcia and Burnes and Turang, I'd just like to think a package like that could bring back more than this. Are you like two different people? Holy hell are you strange. One minute it’s sell anyone and everything for a player and then next you’re questioning another poster who is talking about moving guys to get something of value.
  8. The Brewers could win easy tomorrow, and take every game up to the deadline, and there would still be members here who want to sell. And that's fine. (No, I'm not one of them) No matter what, this guy will be disappointed. The talks of possibly moving our 1-year players was just too much for him.
  9. Eh, I don’t know. We probably could nab Thor!
  10. Shouldn’t of come back out for this inning. You have to be able to rely on others. If they can’t, then either go out and trade/sign/call up guys or call it a season. CC found a shiny new toy and can’t help himself.
  11. I would’ve let Arcia hit but understand the bunt. Arcia has a weird way of showing up in games like this when you don’t expect it. It’s also bunting Grandal over who is very slow.
  12. Cain-Yelich-Braun have all had moments to do something big in this game and just ugh. Oh well, hold em and get them in the bottom half.
  13. If anyone complains about that rule just make them watch this inning. What a joke. Why is it a joke? The guy is doing what he thinks it takes to win a ballgame. He is failing at that thought, but I don't think it's a joke at all. It's baseball. Boring baseball, but baseball. I think you made the point well enough.
