My question is, is Thor that good?

    Per Ken Rosenthal:

That sounds good. And also we should think good thoughts. Ive heard fans enthusiasm and optimism really gives the team an extra one to two runs a game. Maybe a "hugs for everybody" night at the ole ball park. Or a "hands across Milwaukee" will do the trick That sounds nice I agree. Cuddle sessions for everyone tonight! We all know snide remarks on the internet haven’t worked this season.

Mike Leake is not good. If that’s the acquisition I might as well open up my “Sell Mode” topic and let’s get pieces on the move.
  5. pacopete4
Yes, let’s just have them try harder to win. Simple fix. If they do that all of our problems are solved.

The more I think of it, Greinke makes a lot of sense if Arizona is tearing it down. If they can make the dollars and cents add up, he would be a great fit for this team.

A few cocktails on a Tuesday morning? Nice...

Hopefully Houser gets through 3-innings and rejoins the pen, where he belongs.

Kratz was going a good job handling certain pitchers. They found a hot streak with Pina catching certain guys and Kratz catching the rest. I think they explained that enough. Pina wears down if he’s the main guy. He’s better suited to split the load.

Sorry, should’ve phrased the last part of my sentences better as it was not solely directed at you. It was more of a generalization for everyone who tosses out two players the Brewers should’ve traded to get Stroman.

This sounds like a much more reasonable response to the trade. Anyone getting upset that the Brewers don’t nab a guy always seems odd to me because there’s just so many factors involved that we don’t know about. It leads you to a dark place with your mindset of the job Stearns and Co. are doing when in reality they have no idea what it would’ve took from the Brewers to get it done.

Was this meant for this thread? Seems odd.

With the acquisition of Lyles we can finally put this thread to rest. It’s buying season boys!

Can’t imagine what Braun would be doing to it then. #RyanBraunForever
  16. pacopete4
    TBD. I love it!
  17. pacopete4
I think you only want Greinke back if he wants to be here. He is kind of a weird dude.
  18. pacopete4
Sounds like any insurance plan, ever.
  19. pacopete4
I don’t trust a single word that guy tweets. He’s the village idiot as far as I’m concerned.
  20. pacopete4
    Easier to get angry though.
  21. pacopete4
I’m confused, we’ve already lost to Bama? Twice?!?
  22. pacopete4
This. It was a play he made to FINALLY have an answer for us longer term in our rotation and unfortunately two of them crapped out in that role. Having the ability to look back makes anyone sounds smarter.
  23. pacopete4
They didn’t give away talent. They gave away a guy they probably had no interest in having on the 40-man roster next season.
  24. pacopete4
Instead of laying him $2.5M to be lousy for us for a full season we will pay him 250k to hopefully find something.
  25. pacopete4
Sounds like Trent Grisham might be going bye bye.
