Just like your thoughts on who we could get for our prospects, you’ve swung and missed, again. Man, you have had a terrible week around here. Do you have intimate knowledge of WHO they can or can't get for their prospects?? Yeah that's what i thought. You don't. Now I really want to see them make a big move so I can watch you squirm and go off and pout about how they didn't sell Grandal and Moose. I've had a fine week here, thanks. Guy, you’re stuck on repeat and for some reason think I’ll be upset come August 1st if Grandal and Moose are still with us. Spoiler... I won’t. I think it could’ve been a smart play for them moving forward but it’s more than likely not going to happen. Instead we will trade for a so-so player or two and hope we can stay in the mix. But yeah, maybe we will get Thor for our junk prospects.

But you HAVE TO realize, you're saying that you're ok trading off people that have either little value or whose value is massively depressed (Burnes). You're not getting significant pieces for our crap. But YOU have to realize, you just don't know how another GM might value those pieces. No one does. Maybe someone loves Freddy and Burnes, and that brings back more than anyone thinks it can. Or maybe, some GM's would prefer a package of major league ready players with some upside(which all of them cept Pina and maybe Thames have), rather than taking back prospects. Maybe Arcia is highly regarded by certain GM's. None of us know any of that. Some GM's may prefer quantity over quality. They all have value, but none of us know how much. Look how cheap Diekman went. So you don’t know how other GM’s will value our players but will complain and criticize every non-move made? Got it.

Yeah, Gamel isn’t the answer. He’s great to have on this team but he just won’t hit enough to be an answer. But hey, I heard Braun is working on another extension so we probably don’t have to worry anyways. -
These posts getting up on a soap box about how long someone’s been a fan and yada, yada, yada baffle me. No one cares! People talk of a sell off because they haven’t been good. It is/was warranted. If you don’t want to see it, don’t read it or comment on it. Now, they pulled themselves up last night but they basically have one hand pulling them out of the grave and their legs are broken so it’s going to be a difficult climb out of that 6ft hole.

I don't disagree. I love Houser in the pen this season, although I think he'll be a starter eventually. But their hands are pretty well tied unless they find another couple starters somewhere. I'm still on the Supak bandwagon. Probably a starter acquired before the deadline. If Gio doesn't miss a start, you're covered right there without moving Houser back to the rotation. Don't know where Nelson is at. I saw he quietly made a rehab start the other day, but it did not go well. You would think Suter is close, but I haven't heard much. Supposedly Bobby Wahl is about on the same timeline as Suter, Wahl being a pen option of course. I was hyped to see Supak until I saw his inability to strikeout batters. He may be good but it screams struggles the higher he goes.
