  1. Oh no.. no thanks.
  2. You’re right. Crazy to think someone’s batting average might improve with regular at bats. Nuts, I tell ya...
  3. This grass is always greener junk is getting pretty far fetched. He’s been great for the Brewers. I don’t think his numbers reflect what he could be if he played more. But either way he has been just about the best bench player we could ask for. Change for change sake. It’s infected the minds of some (more than others).
  4. Looks like MLB the Show.
  5. Holy hell, I didn’t even see the option Gamel part.
  6. Neither Thames, nor Braun should be sharing time anywhere.
  7. Even if studies showed he should bat 4th, they’re not moving him.
  8. Yelich isn’t moving. I keep seeing this. He’s not going to get bumped from the 2-hole.
  9. I think that only matters if the lefties can't hit lefties, no? Yep. Often it gets overblown with the lefty-lefty stuff. Good hitters, hit.
  10. This would be the smart play but they’ll double down on this season and do something that will hinder the future I’m sure. There’s my negativity of the day with the Brewers FO. They just haven’t been ahead of the game like they were a season ago. Maybe a season like this will snap them back into it.
  11. Would love to see the Stache’s reaction to the trade...
  12. I think we can agree that there MIGHT be some younger players that could be added that have shown they have some promising talent. But they’re also unproven as can be. I mean Brew Crew 92 was jumping guys on our team earlier this year that never pitched AA ball before. It’s just not realistic. It’s great that we have some young arms that look promising but they’re really unknown right now. If things continue they’ll probably get a look.
  13. It has to be a balance with making these decision. Brew Crew 92: just imagine if you were running the show. Just think of how many players you would have burned through already as you make your way down our minor leagues. You have a new flavor every day. It just doesn’t work that way. You can’t just burn people off the 40-man roster all the time with no consequences. There is a reason that no GM operates this way and it comes down to depth and money.
  14. There not moving Yelich. Not even sure why you would.
  15. 137 innings last year, so limit probably 160 or so. Only 117 this year so far, could get like 8 starts out of him yet. It feels like they have babied his process so far. Has had solid stats since we traded for him but hasn’t made it to AAA yet and he’s been in the minors for a bit. Just seems odd.
  16. Gotta suck to work your way to the majors and completely blow your opportunity. So long, farewell, Mr. Jackson.
  17. Supak will hit the innings wall. Not sure how much that helps things.
  18. I think we are watching the regression happen. His first half numbers just are not in line with his career.
  19. This team could reel of 10 in a row, and the sky would still only be held up by binder twine and scotch tape. I figured you may get a laugh out of that one.
  20. How’s Grisham as a relief pitcher?
  21. That right-center stroke by Braun is really promising. He’s been good lately but if he gets going that way, watch out.
  22. Not sure that they have a choice sometimes. I’m sure a lot of teams want to wait to see where there team ends up by July 31st. And hold out to get their best deal.
  23. I think you’re going to have to come to terms with the fact that Bill is going to support our players with his commentary. He’s not going to tear them down. And to be fair, JJ just got us out of what could have been a big inning.
  24. Agreed ... and that sucks, because besides the fact that he seems to be a great guy and has a great story, he was nails last year. But yeah, every time he pitches, batters are squaring up on him. He so rarely gave up hard contact last year. His stuff doesn't look drastically different. Hard to put a finger on what the difference, is. You’ll get two answers: -Pina/Kratz aren’t back there calling the pitches -DJ is gone.
