  1. If Bill Murray is in, it has a chance. Pumped!
  2. Braun admitted guilt and went on his apology tour and hasn’t been anything but a great guy to the Brewers clubhouse and community since. You never see Braun take plays off when he’s out there. Machado is a repeated punk who doesn’t give you his full effort no matter what the situation is and is a total me-me-me guy. If chasing a WS doesn’t get you his best effort, what would? Just because two guys have errors in their pasts doesn’t make them equal today and it definitely doesn’t bode well for Machado right now as I believe he would already have his deal if well, he wasn’t Machado.
  3. IIRC, it's related to your sound settings on the fire stick. Go to settings>Display & Sound> Audio If the Dolby Digital Output is set to "Auto" change it to "off". If it's set to "off" change to "Auto". Play the show and check the audio to see if it's in sync now. Problem solved. Thanks!
  4. Big part of me is happy to see him struggling to find his fit. Not that it matters because he will still be a clown and be filthy rich but it is nice to see it play out very slowly and not as grandiose as he may have wanted.
  5. Have direct tv now. When I record shows on Fox the mouth doesn’t match the voice when I play it on my amazon fire stick in one room but works just fine on my roku in the other room. Anyone know what gives?
  6. I don't think Grandal happens if they keep him though. So I would rather solidify the catcher position and try to find a diamond in the rough at 2B if it is me on the call.
  7. Well, Vogt isn't busy.
  8. I agree with you. I like Moose coming back more than anything left on the 2B/3B market. That lineup would be murder on righties, but you'd need to hope that Perez/Braun/Aguilar can pick up the slack against tough lefties. It would also let them ease Hiura into the lineup, instead of tossing him in full time if/when he eventually comes up. Agreed with this. Moustakas isn't a perfect player, none of them are. But if we have enough depth at those spots, it should pay dividends throughout 162 games.
  9. There are not that many lefties that we face on a regular basis. The Cubs are about it. And it's not a straight platoon, it is limiting. Coupled with his defense and power, it would only make us a better team than we are currently.
  10. C- Grandall & Pina 1B- Aguilar (w/Walker, Shaw (Braun) 2B- Shaw/Walker/Perez 3B- Moustakas/Shaw/Perez/Walker SS- Arica/Perez (Walker emergency) LF- Braun/Gamel/Perez CF- Cain/Yelich/Perez RF- Yelich/Gamel/Perez And yes, Moustakas is a professional at-bat if you limit him against lefties.
  11. Add Moustakas and Walker. Get professional hitters up and down that lineup every single night and be a thorn in everyone’s sides.
  12. Neil Walker on the cheap really makes too much sense. If he stinks you have those other two guys to fall back on and you’re not out big money. If he hits, you have some nice depth built at that position.
  13. This was a guy I wanted us to nab last off season.
  14. If it really was 4/$50ish than I don't blame him for betting on himself next offseason without having to deal with a QO.
  15. Yea that's fair. But why not just say that instead of trying to justify it financially when it sure seems a poor choice financially. If happiness, winning, etc factored in more power to him. But why not just say it. Heck, it would be good PR. "I chose MKE over the money due to the chance at the WS after seeing how good they were last year firsthand" etc. Didn’t he toe this line today in his locker room presser?
  16. Four years on the Mets at a price you think you’re better than or possibly $32M on a team you think can contend for two seasons? I don’t think this is as black and white as it seems.
  17. He was nice to have around last year. Not sure I want to sign him though.
  18. If I am a player into my 30's, year by year contracts might be the way to go if you want to be on successful teams. Now, at any given time your ability could falter and you could stink which would cost you considerably. But, if you are good with the money you have made during your career and believe in your ability, I think I would take 1-2 year shots on teams that I believe had an opportunity to win it all.
  19. I would be okay with them moving Pina in the right deal but I have been on the Pina as a backup catcher bandwagon for a while now. It is a perfect fit for the guy. He will still be an important piece to the team but won't (hopefully) need to be relied on to catch 100+ games. This should benefit all parties.
  20. The stuff they’re doing around Lambeau is great. It really is. It just stinks that we didn’t pull the trigger on TT earlier.
  21. If you go with a platoon and they stink, it will put a lot more pressure on Stearns and Co to rush Hiura. If they find a decent one year guy, it will allow that process to play itself out on its own. Either Hiura takes and forces his way up or he spends a year in AAA getting better. Very risky in more ways than one with going with just Perez/Cory.
  22. At minimum, it gives the Dodgers more leverage. I personally am hoping the Marlins end up holding Realmuto. I want them to get punished for their obscene asking price. And because then we can trade for him this next offseason when Grandal leaves.
  23. Can add me to that list. His skill set is special but he is a player I don't think our clubhouse needs. One of the top reasons last year was so enjoyable was because of the mixture of guys we had. I don't want Machado in that mess and I don't think the Brewers would either.
  24. Ready? McCarthy always called WR screens. And...they rarely worked well. Yeah but these ones are different.
  25. His career pivoted when Nick Collins broke his neck. The defense fell apart after that. I nearly come to tears whenever I think of "what could have been" if Collins was never injured during the first game of 2011. Agreed.
