  1. Kind of hoping we cut bait with Nick Perry after the season as he went on IR yesterday and was nom existent all season.
  2. Where’s HighHeat19 when you need him/her?
  3. Badgers lit up Oklahoma today. Now they will more than likely get a crack at a really good Virginia team. Will be a nice early measuring stick for this team.
  4. That’s why I tend to give Aaron the benefit of the doubt in the family feud. Me too. But maybe it is the only way they can send their messages to him and they got fed up and are standing up for their mother. Either way it’s a bad look all around.
  5. And his brothers Luke and Jordan making sure everyone knows their family issues. Yikes. (Quotes per their Twitter accounts): Luke- “Love that! Can you imagine being such a giant coward that you don’t even call to check on your parents during this fire?” Jordan- “PLEASE DONATE, SPREAD AWARENESS & SEND LOVE. But when your own Mom is home alone during the fires, car packed ready to evacuate, & you miss the fundamental first step of compassion; calling your parents to make sure they are safe.... Everything else just feels like an act.”
  6. Agreed. It just doesn’t make sense to.
  7. Yeah, this one makes too much sense for it to actually happen. Here’s to hope.
  8. It’s refreshing to see many posters say he’s a good coach because elsewhere on the internet, it is completely brutal seeing the stuff posted about the man.
  9. Doug Pederson was an offensive genius 10 months ago. Now he’s going to miss the playoffs in a lousy division. These hot takes on coaches are crazy to me. McCarthy is a good football coach.
  10. I don’t think a source is needed on that one. The Brewers don’t play with Monopoly money. If Greinke was a one year investment, you might have more flexibility but not at three years.
  11. They allowed Wisconsin vs. Ohio State. It was an awesome experience. One of the best times attending a game. I wish they'd do it again.
  12. I do think there are certain players who get treated differently by refs because of who they are but it is more because they develop relationships over the years with certain players. There is not much to this story though.
  13. ...but what if he is? Then we would all celebrate it but there's probably a better chance that he is not and that he is just a really good player who got extremely hot.
  14. I think his point is that there will be many in the fan base that will be expecting a lot out of him and he may not be ever as good as he was for those last couple months. Heck, even after having a not so great NLCS, there were many in the fan base getting after him.
  15. Incredible effort on display tonight. Nice win!
  16. This is my response as well. It just doesn’t add up. Fair enough on the price being too high, but let's not say he's fallen off a cliff production-wise when clearly he hasn't. I didn’t. I said he’s a shell of his former self because he is. He’s learned to get by for now but his velocity dip has been well documented. He has throw a ton of innings in his career, is 35, and only getting older. Again, it’s not a wise move for the Brewers going down this road.
  17. Is there a right price? Either the Diamondbacks pay quite a bit of his salary and we have to give up really good prospects for him or we pay most or all of his salary, give up less but then have $35 million tied up in one player for 3 years. Neither is a good option. This is my response as well. It just doesn’t add up.
  18. I don't want to see us burn up Peralta, Woody and Burnes in AAA. Time has come to get after it with those three.
  19. I don't want pitchers past their primes and paying them $30M to do it. Paying pitchers 35+ years or older is foolish for a team like the Brewers. I don't care how they compare against our staff's numbers in that instance. Find younger pitching that you can control. That is the key to our sustainable success.
  20. Talk negative about Rodgers and you are a fan whining. Post about firing a head coach and all is good. It is not that I do not think Rodgers is a great QB or that I don't believe he can win another Super Bowl, so being in "Camp Rodgers" really has nothing to do with anything I have said about this season and him. I believe Rodgers was very coachable in the beginning and he has gotten too big for his britches. It does happen to a lot of the great players. It doesn't mean I should ignore it and just say, well the next head coach will get him on track. Rodgers is a huge reason our run game doesn't get on track. Rodgers is a huge reason for why a lot of our drives are stalling out. His attitude and body language have been about as bad as it gets this season. It's gross to me.
  21. Grienke looked like a shell of his former self last year. Hard pass on this idea for me.
  22. I knew I'd get grief for my take, and that is fine. It is just of my own opinion that Rodgers is a bigger root to our offensive problems than a lot of people will ever say. I think McCarthy would love to say it but knows that it wouldn't go over well with 90% of the fanbase, because well, he is Aaron Rodgers. I think the Twitter world is starting to catch it, which is good. He has people open. He has easier passes to complete. He almost refuses to play within a system. I don't care if he is frustrated. He is costing us chances to win football games. He plays hero ball. His schtick has gotten extremely old to me. If people want to just ignore his arrogance because he happens to be a great football player, that's fine with me but I'm pretty much over him which his attitude and sloppy play.
  23. Should've gone with a Miami Vice type logo/font.
