  1. What Giannis is doing is incredible. I don’t know if he will hold up but I sure hope like hell he can.
  2. Bad time for Middleton to have a horrible game.
  3. The 2nd quarter will be one to look back on if they lose this game. Just awful.
  4. I do not like watching Pat Connaughton play basketball.
  5. .241/.344/.481/.825 - Keston the last 65 PA’s He’s been bad this season but not lately.
  6. Sounds like the return of Braun. That’s the only thing it could be.
  7. I never know what “all in” really means. There are only so many players you can or will have the opportunity to acquire. The Brewers have quality options pretty much anywhere they turn to on their roster. I’m sure there will be tweaks but upgrading areas is going to be difficult.
  8. Officiate the NBA games like they’re doing outside the NBA.
  9. Yeah, the coaches are teaching a clinic on this….Source? Why would he need a source? It’s an observation.
  10. Rowdy needs to get steady at bats there before any sort of judgement is made. Also, Keston’s last 65 PA’s: .241/.344/.481/.825. I’m sure he will get more opportunities too. Right now, Peterson just continues to outplay expectations and producing for the Brewers. They have options. I’m sure it’ll get sorted out.
  11. Greinke would probably be alright because we do have good defense but he is striking out 2 less per 9 than his career average. Not a great sign for an aging pitcher. But yes, he’s not leaving Houston.
  12. I can’t see them moving away from Pina. I really can’t.
  13. He's arguing that the winner is "to be determined". Yes, it looked bad for the Brewers for awhile. But that lopsidedness has sense faded considerably as Urias heats up and Lauer continues to look useful. No one here is calling the deal a surefire win for the Brewers, at least not yet. But plenty of said that the Brewers were raked over the coals on the deal. That take doesn't appear to be correct, either. Bingo. I didn’t call him out for being wrong. He still might end up being very right. I didn’t even really call him out personally. Just stated that we should be willing to let things play out before trying to call it. The Brewers are looking better and better as time goes. That’s. Not. Odd.
  14. The Padres absolutely destroyed us in that deal. I know people want to say "let's just wait", but...realistically . That's going to look like a loss now or 3 years from now. I know you don’t want to be called out but I just saw this and it happened to just be your post. I think this is a great time the point out that trades take time to decide winners and losers. Urias looks great in his new role and Lauer has continued to improve and give us some very good outings. Grisham is a good ball player and could’ve helped us, no doubt. But this is far from a win by the Padres. I’m pretty happy with the trade. Urias is one of my favorite Brewers.
  15. Mine wasn’t a complaint. It was a positive thing. They’ve disappeared and will stay away until a rough patch. That’s a great thing!
  16. I’ve never went down to the Deer District. I thought it’d be a cool experience in such a huge, possibly historic game. I’m just weary of how out of control it might really get down there. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
  17. The Brewers lost games by 2-0, 4-3 and 3-1 margins last weekend, and there were a few here ready to crown the Reds. Well, the Brewers just beat them three times by 11-6, 7-4 and 8-0 margins. They just swept a team that we were told by several members here is MUCH better than them after those close losses. Did the Brewers get that much better in a week? Or was it just baseball? Many of those posters will disappear until the next rough patch. The poster that showed the data on posts per IGT depending on if we were winning or losing was spot on. So much easier to be negative, I guess.
  18. Don’t have the odds but they’d need to win 41 of their last 67 games (.612). Would need to pick up the pace a bit down the stretch. I’m sure a lot would be determined by the teams they play and who is actually trying to win games at that point.
  19. The Brewers currently sit at 56-39 on the season. They have 67 games remaining. If the Brewers play .500ish ball the rest of the season (34-33) they would finish with 90 wins on the season. For the Reds (48-45) to catch them, they would need to win 42 of their last 69 games (.609). For the Cubs and Cards (46-47) to catch them, they would need to win 44 of their last 69 games (.638).
  20. Such a shame. Such a shame…
  21. You’re just doubling down on your bad opinions is all. You’ve been wrong about just about everything. You’re entitled to your opinion but I’m also entitled to continuing to show how wrong it’s been.
  22. Nobody is recommending running him into the ground. You can’t have it both ways. And the Brewers continue to prove your thoughts wrong as to how they are managing their arms. Take a break for a bit and enjoy the show.
