I couldn’t get on the website for the last half our or so. Kept saying postmaster error.

Maybe the smart play is adding him in August anyways. I mean he will definitely be on an innings limit and if this is a playoff team it might be of better use for him.

You’d probably have to add to Thames to get it done but I’d be all for it. Even though it does leave us a bit short on left handed power bats.

Shields likes to pitch deeper into games. He may not want to come to Milwaukee knowing our new philosophy. But he was very impressive yesterday.

I’ll post it here but it’s about Starlin Castro. How bad is he at shortstop? Say we included Castro in a Realmuto trade to lighten the prospect load (if the Marlins even want to lower salary), could we play Castro at SS? Is he worse there than Villar? I mean if Arcia continues to struggle, maybe he ends up being a late game defensive replacement guy if we could grab a better bat at that position. Just spitballing here.

The home run reliant Brewers avoid losing two in a row. And the Pirates just tied it in the 9th against the Cards.

Sometimes you can’t make this stuff up. Braun hit it hard, fine. But at some point you just have to come through in these spots. Shields making them look like they’ve never seen an off speed.

Pina has been bad. Real bad. If it weren’t for Arcia, people would notice how terrible he has been more. It wouldn’t take much for an upgrade to that position right now.
