  1. Good chance this run scores anyway but that was really dumb.
  2. Another chance to break this wide open for Yelich. Really does not seem to feel comfortable versus a lefty.
  3. Is there something wrong with Braun? That is like the third time I have seen him lose his bat on a swing in like a week.
  4. Also takes out the fun of a good umpire - manager argument.
  5. Was it just me or did Yelich seem to gingerly cross 1st base on that infield single? Edit: Might've just been my eyes.
  6. Wonder why Aguilar did not tag up on that Pina ball? Could be 3-1 right now. Edit: Having their starter at 65 pitches through the 3rd inning is really nice. Hopefully, we can get to that pen early and often and create that advantage in this series.
  7. Could’ve really used that two out knock Yelich. Sure would be nice to bust out one of these games. Take advantage for once.
  8. Wonder how many times Perez gets out by swinging at a ball.
  9. Villar will eventually not be a Brewer and go on to have success elsewhere.
  10. Arenado away from Coors is a sub .800 player for his career.
  11. Braun and Shaw have 19 RBI's which would put them on pace for 83 each for a 162 games just based on the number of games we have played so far, not their individual games played. Thames had 13 RBI's in 22 games and if you put that over a full season, it would be about 96 RBI's. Santana, on the other hand, has 8 RBI's and would be about 35 total for an entire 162 game season. He needs to heat up and stay how to make up for his horrendous start. 83 RBIs is pathetic for a 3/4 hitter playing 162 games with two guys above them on base like Cain and Yelich. Yelich missed over ten games so far.
  12. Thames had 13 RBI's in 22 games and if you put that over a full season, it would be about 96 RBI's. Santana(.208 RISP), on the other hand, has 8 RBI's and would be about 35 total for an entire 162 game season. He needs to heat up and stay how to make up for his horrendous start.

  14. Perfectly stated. We jump to too many conclusions on players.
  15. This is a lineup I could get behind for the next couple of weeks. Try to get Cain and Santana on base for Yelich - Braun - Shaw. Let Villar hack it at 2B for a couple of weeks and push Arica to the 9th spot hoping to turn it over for the top of the lineup a bit more.
  16. I'll just make it clear that I don't want Hiura traded if he can play 2B. I just mentioned it if the organization sees the future as him not working out there.
  17. I would lead off Santana right now and stack Cain - Yelich - Braun - Shaw behind him. Put Villar in the 6th spot for two weeks against RHP's and leave him.
