When/if Braun is healthy, he will find himself in the lineup. We really gotta stop going down this road around here.

On pace for 85 innings so far this season which would be a career high. He’s been so dang good for the crew this year.

Asher made it two days. Brewers trade for Tyler Saladino from the White Sox and place him at AAA. Looks to have a killer mustache.

I can't imagine this place if we had signed Cobb and he gave us the two starts he has given the Orioles. -
You may be correct and that definitely seems to be what they’re doing, but it’s also possible that 2017 and the beginning of 2018 have already settled that Well, so far Villar is performing offensively as well as Harrison and better than Scooter and Walker (he's been bad). So we probably can let the dust settle a bit on this.

Couldn't travel ball teams adjust their schedules to the new format? You would give the opportunity to kids to play high school baseball and still have plenty of summer to get in your tournaments for travel ball.

I wish that each team had like 5-6 Sundays of doubleheaders each year. This would give them more off days anyway. Allow the teams to have a 26-man roster on Sunday with no rules about having to stay down 10 days when you are sent down and what not.

If the Bucks have no chance at changing their current roster to compete, they might as well trade Giannis for as many first round draft picks as they can get. Terrible franchise.

From Superior - The only summer baseball team I knew of while going through was Ashland. And they seemed to switch back and forth between spring and summer depending on the crop of players they had coming in. Otherwise, I'm not super sure on any other team from the north playing summer baseball. Superior now has an all turf field. So they don't lose many games, if any, anymore. In fact, they make money from charging other high schools and the three local colleges in the area to use their field.

People speak about tradition in baseball as if this is the only way it has ever been. Time to touch up on some history of the game.

What about a hybrid of sorts? Games begin May 1st (this could give our athletes a much-needed break after a long winter sports season) and the State Tournament is the week/weekend before the 4th of July. That would give two months to play 20-25 games plus playoffs and the whole month for travel teams to get in their tournaments before football kicks up.

Link Sounds like a guy that might not love the game all that much or maybe it is a reasoned approach to having a 162 game schedule. I'm not sure... Thoughts?

Won't make a difference. The GM/Owner should fire themselves.

The problem is that means they will go April, May, and June (also probably a lot of July) with poor 2B production. We act as if we are the only team with possible holes on our team. Every team battles it somewhere. Second base MIGHT be that place by July but it might not be as well. Sometimes you have to let players prove one way or another. They have sunk about $7-8 million in the second base position already with Villar-Perez-Sogard so it probably was in Stearns best interest to let the dust settle there before making a move.

If Miley doesn’t have a set back I think he will join the rotation with either Guerra or Suter depending how the next few weeks go.

You think its bad here, try surfing Brewers Twitter or the Facebook comments under every line-up he appears in. The hate gets pretty unfathomable. Yeah, it is pretty disgusting. It is why I usually ignore someone that tells me that Wisconsin fans are different from the rest. Because it is pure crap.

We do it with Santana in right and Thames at first but you hardly hear a peep about those two when errors are made. It is what brought me to Villar's bandwagon.

Had the same thought myself. Villar should be having a great day 2 for 3 with a walk but will have to settle for 2 for 4 and a middle finger to the home plate umpire.

Wonder if Counsell noticed the same thing? He just got yanked. I would understand if it was for defensive purposes, but is Hernan really that much better defensively? Also, so much for Lorenzo's day off. I missed it, can someone fill me in? What happened?
