  1. Funny but that's what I do when I get yelled at for saying something right and it proves itself right. You can find an example of that in the MiLB forum where I said pump the breaks on a prospect then got yelled at for being stupid. I enjoy your insight. Was just having some fun with ya.
  2. Man, you love to play these cards don’t you? I said it’s a good lesson for all of us, not just you.
  3. It's not a dig, it's showing the truth. With Yamamoto doing well with Miami, he's on here telling everyone how he proclaimed Yamamoto was the piece that terrified him at the thought of losing when the Yelich trade was made. He said nothing of the sort. In general, everyone here should rest comfortably that the trade was a slam dunk, home run. Even if all 4 Marlins end up contributing as major leaguers, we don't need people being revisionist about the deal. The Brewers got more than they possibly could have asked for. Well then, how many of us, including me for sure, would want harmless, innocuous statements that we’ve made, researched thru the archives, and thrown back in our face. I know I don’t. I’ve always found TJs posts to be extremely interesting and thoughtful, just like yours TBBC. I cringed reading that, thinking of all the stupid things I said. Then maybe think before you post? It’s a good lesson for any of us.
  4. Netflix- When They See Us Hard watch but very good. Very sad to see those lives changed by some pretty awful people in the justice system.
  5. I’ve been waiting for that win for a long time. What a feeling! The Blues won the cup! Can’t believe it.
  6. I liked Rocketman. I didn’t know much about his story so it had my attention in that regard.
  7. Chara going to play with a broken jaw tonight in game 5 but yet let's start another NBA thread around here... come on people!
  8. Down to a series of 3. Really hoping the Blues can upset the Bruins next game and give them a chance to close it out at home.
  9. Blues to the Cup finals for the first time since 1970. Although I was not even born then, I feel like I have been waiting that long to see this series for the Blues.
  10. Wasn't my cup of tea. A really slow burn of a show and for me just a lot of awkwardness.
  11. Game of Thrones. While I wasn't as crazy as a lot of people on this show, it was a good one. It did go out with a whimper though. People hated the last few episodes and last nights finale was no different.
  12. Yep, I've really enjoyed the show as long as you don't take it seriously, it's got some great moments with a good cast.
  13. Thought for sure my Blues were going to get 60 pucks on net and only score one goal. What a win!
  14. Little bit of luck but my Blues are moving on!
  15. UMass was a brutal team to watch in the Championship. How did they make it there?
  16. Never watched Arrested Development before. Started it on Netflix and I enjoy it. Fun show.
  17. Very enjoyable (nerve racking) game one for my Blues!
  18. -----BUMP----- NHL PLAYOFFS ARE HERE!! GO BLUES!!!
  19. If Bill Murray is in, it has a chance. Pumped!
  20. Great take. Agreed. Hopefully it is a sign of a new direction.
  21. While the story didn’t stay 100% true to the actually story, Bohemian Rapsody was awesome.
  22. Without Stallone/Rocky, I won't have much interest in other Creed films. To be honest, the actor that plays Creed is pretty blah. I just haven't found myself liking him much. On the flipside, and I felt a little guilty about these thoughts, I found myself more drawn to Drago's son than Creed. Viktor Drago has obviously led a much more interesting and painful life that Adonis Creed. His character drew more emotion out of me than Creed, and I found myself feeling genuinely sorry for him.. That is all I can say without posting spoilers, so I'll let it go at that... I don't want to give away spoilers either but I know you are not alone in this thought.
  23. From the reports out of Stallone, that was it for Rocky. I think the next film should center around his death myself. Kind of a homage to Mick dying in Rocky's 3rd movie, this would be Creed's third movie as well. Although I will say, the franchise without Rocky's dialogue might get lost in a hurry.
  24. It is my favorite of the three (Med, Fire, PD). It's a pretty great thing when they all flow together.
