    I agree with this premise. Going 6 deep with quality starter types is a huge luxury. Lauer certainly hasn't done anything to show that he doesn't deserve a postseason start, either. Between Houser and Lauer, I would think Houser would be the better one out of the pen, too. Plus having two multi-inning lefties in Ashby and Lauer in the pen, not to mention Suter, may be a little redundant. This was also my thought. I think your pen is more versatile with Houser and Ashby versus Ashby and Lauer.

    Houser has been very good in the rotation this year. I was huge on getting him back to the pen and I'll gladly say I was wrong there. BUT, I wouldn't mind seeing him in the pen come the post-season. I would go with him and Ashby as your long-men with Burnes, Woody, Peralta, and Lauer as your starters.

    I think you are probably kidding a bit, but I like Tellez at 1B defensively, and thinks he's a more complete hitter than Vogelbach. Not a world beater, but not a bad guy to have around either. By the way, welcome back Thank you! One of the more ridiculous things I've seen on these boards but anyways... I am sort of joking as I think he is a key to us winning games. We had a pretty good record with him in the lineup after the trade. I see it is as a mini-Adames move.

    Recording games is the way to go. The button to fast forward on my controller is 30 seconds. I hit it as they’re tackled and I’m right back into the next play. No commercial breaks. No halftime breaks. Just simply the football. And a lot less dumb takes by announcers. It’s basically the only way I watch Packers and Badgers these days.

    Maybe he should try and fix it when we are in the middle of a NL pennant race. The idea is to be proactive rather than retrospective, if you can possibly get out from under the disaster of this extension. Because it’s not that easy to fix or else many players would just simply hit better when they find slumps. This isn’t easy. It never has been and at the height of today’s pitching, it never will be. I get a chuckle out of fans that write like this. You think Yelich wouldn’t love to be having his monster season right now with our pitching? He will most likely be just fine. And if he isn’t, it won’t be the first contract to suck. It is what it is.

    And next year he might hit 35 home runs. We won’t know until we know. The exit velocity has been there but the results haven’t. I’m sure he will try to fix that in the off-season. I’m guessing he doesn’t want to stink but we won’t know until we go through it.

    A true end to an era where the success of the Brewers franchise turned around. Braun had a large part in that. That swing is something that was worth tuning in for. I hope that Brewers fans pack that last game to honor a great Brewers baseball player. It's well earned. And with that, a new avatar. It's CC time! Work that magic and get us that trophy.

    I’ll bet they have at least one playoff team out of the North.

    Yes, the depth of a line is sometimes more important than having a stud. Multiple players that can get after the QB is ideal so that you can rotate them through and not notice a drop-off in play. Gary has been trending in the right direction for over a season now. At the end of the day, I don't care where they are selected. We just need to continue to draft and develop good players.
