  1. Still baffles me that guys like Drake are the best we can toss out there at a pro level.
  2. There should be a rule for these companies that have commercials for Brewers games. Either you shoot 3-4 different ones or your money is no good here.
  3. He has a great slider, he struck out Harper on it. Where was it? He can't throw it with any consistency so he just abandons it....like he has in his last few outings. Then he compounds the problem by not having good command of the 1 pitch he feels comfortable throwing. And then tosses up a scoreless inning in the process.
  4. Yep. There is plenty of work for Hader to get done but to complain about him is beyond me. Just continues to do his job over and over again.
  5. Susac is not great receiving. And I don't just say that with a passed ball.
  6. Not getting the swings and misses so far. Brewers bats better heat up again.
  7. Ya, I don't know how many 3B are going to make that play, let alone get a glove on it. Arenado, Muchado.... list ends.
  8. Uh oh, Suter out of rythm even. This may not end well.
  9. They succeeded a lot because of Sogard playing superman for a bit. It's not all on Villar butut the struggles of this team right now do relate back to Villar being a pile. And that comes from one of his actual supporters here. It's a trickle down effect.
  10. None of this would even matter if Villar pulled his head out of his arse and played ball for the last 50 games. That's what this dang team needs. He's a spark that's has been spark-less. Put Arcia there, fine. When he's hot, it'll be good. When he's not, I guess it'll be just like it is now with stinky Sogard there.
  11. Because his OBP since June 1st is above .380... False.
  12. Braun isn't batting 4th. He will hit 2nd or 3rd. Most likely 3rd until he retires or falls off a cliff.
  13. He can be our rookie of the year. Good enough.
  14. No, Santana or even Braun would be better there. Arcia doesn't get on base consistently enough yet.
  15. His batting doesn't warrant a top half of the lineup spot. Probably belongs at 6 ahead of Broxton and whoever we toss out at 2B.
  16. Perez is just as good as Kinsler. Broxton is just as good as Granderson. We need one more stud in the lineup, not just another mediocre guy. Perez might be a little better with the bat right now but overall Kinsler might be better. Phillips might be an upgrade over both. IMO, Perez loses his value in any starting spot. He still doesn't get on base enough for that role and his versatility is huge for a bench. Granderson is still way better than Broxton. Broxton doesn't get on base and he strikes out 40% of the time. He's just bad. Granderson would be a definite upgrade.
  17. I know this is just how today's athlete behaves and one could argue it just keeps them loose. I guess I'm old school and wish the players cared as much about baseball as we do. But seeing them and especially Thames at the wrestling match was so lame. He really looks silly acting like that when he has been so bad since April. Was all of this, especially the bolder part, supposed to be in blue? So if these guys don't act like robots they don't care? Heaven forbid if people actually enjoy their lives including their profession.
  18. Go get Granderson and Phillips and see what happens the rest of the way. (OBP/OPS) L- Granderson- CF (.334/.790) R- Santana- RF (.369/.848) R- Braun- LF (.341/.850) L- Shaw- 3B (.363/.919) R- Phillips- 2B (.330/.756) L- Thames-1B (.364/.889) R- Pína- C (.338/.784) R- Arcía- SS (.327/.744) Bench: Bandy/Vogt, Villar(if not traded or Sogard), Broxton, Aguilar, Perez
  19. Im not sure how you or anyone can make this comment. You don't trust him at all? He has only stepped in when asked and got the job done. Edited: removed your condescension
  20. Take the bat out of one of your better hitters for one of your worst, maybe the worst. That isn't a great plan. Pina smoked that ball. Just some bad luck or we are looking at the Brewers scoring at least one and Knebel hopefully putting this one to bed. That's baseball.
