  1. Sorry Ender but that is crap and it's so overblown. He gets outs. Does he needs to work on his control, absolutely. But it's no where near as bad as some are making it out to be.
  2. Stearns probably just realizes how terrible the Brewers PR people are and how they will abuse that song again.
  3. Villar has posted a .341 OBP over the last 14 days. He also has a 7 game hit streak going on. There's also no gaurentee that Sogard comes back and produces what he was doing as his career numbers say otherwise. Hopefully Villar continues to improve. The team needs him. Let's get back on the win-wagon today!
  4. Win two out of three and we'll find our way into the playoffs. We should trade for Neshek. Guys good!
  5. Barnes gets some luck and gets out of walking two batters. Let's score a dang run!
  6. The guy has a six game hitting streak going. Check that... seven.
  7. It won't for long. Brewrers need to acquire a starter somehow regardless. Not sure I want Sonny Gray, but who knows what the price ends up being. If we are going to trade away a major chunk of our prospects I'd prefer something less risky than that of Gray. That being said I think people are being waaaay too critical of Gray over one year. There is some risk there, but a ton of upside. If I could get a deal done without Brinson/Hader I would be all over it. He may command one of them though and I just don't know about that. Yeah I'm right there with you on the way you're thinking. I just don't want to blow our wad on above average. Elite, sure. But just not sure that's to be had this trading season.
  8. Awful lot of pitches for 2hits 1walk and only 5k. Yah we better continue rolling out Guerra/Davies. 4 ERs in 5 innnings with a couple homers at least makes sense. For what we may pay to get Gray, fine by me. Seems to be working.
  9. Every year I ask for two things: 1. A no-hitter so we can hopefully stop hearing Rock talk about catching our only one in history. *Sabathia is noted in this thinking. 2. Win a World Series because I just want to experience it AND so we can hopefully move on from celebrating the 1982 every single season.
  10. Schwarber alone is probably more valuable than any one piece the Brewers could offer. Ian Haap also. Happ, maybe. Schwarber? No way.
  11. Wheelin dealin Stearns might not be done yet. We might sign some Indy ball player that become our ace. Ya just never know what's up a magicians sleeve.
  12. Good. This will make winning the division that much more satisfying.
  13. I'm good with Knebel not pitching. Rest up bud. It's going to be a fun second half
  14. Might as well ask for Posey too.
  15. Pump the brakes a bit. Villar is going no where and shouldn't. This also could've been put in the people you'd like to see be called up thread.
  16. If you look at his overall career numbers, his home and away are almost identical.
  17. Maybe they have changed it. I couldn't even list the teams. I don't think I've watched it in years. Just list the teams and give these guys three days off. Maybe I'm weird but if you're not a Brewer, I could give a rats behind if I ever watch you play.
  18. Until it isn't a stupid fan vote I wouldn't get too worked up over it. With the majority of fans being stupid and the markets no where near compatible in size, stuff like this happens. I don't even want Knebel to pitch in that game. Just rest buddy. We have a big second half to go after.
  19. The standings are fun to look at. Especially the what if. If the Brewers basically play .500 ball in the second half going 36-35 in the remaining 71 games it would take the rest of the division to play the following to match their 86 wins: -Cubs & Cards (43-45): Would need to have a winning % of .581 with a record of 43-31 over their last 74 games to match 86 wins. -Pirates (42-47): Would need to have a winning % of .603 with a record of 44-29 over their last 73 games to match 86 wins. Just tossing it out there to show that this division can be won.
  20. 50-41 ten games over? Yes. You just gotta carry the 1.
