  1. Nice pickup for our bench. Like the move.
  2. I'm guessing they're referencing his diving attempt at that jam shot that he dropped that would've been a double play. Instead Rocks got their big inning. I can't really fault him for that, he did everything right but the ball popped out. Still only 2 games in, nothing to freak out about. Just seems the trend is continuing for him, hopefully a month from now he's settled in and there's no need to talk about it. That, and on opening day he dropped the ball transferring the ball to his throwing hand on what would have been an easy DP. That's the kind of stuff that should rarely happen, yet he's done it two games in a row. Just happens to be the first two games, which is why it stands out so much. And that has nothing to do with a new position, just lack of concentration....or he simply never will be a really good defensive player at any position. Okay, I will give you the double play ball but really? The play he dove on was a really tough play. It is not a routine play someone makes at all.
  3. What did he do in game two that cost them the game? I remember there being a play where he was late getting to second base but that can't be what we are talking about here because that surely did not cost them the game. I must've missed something else.
  4. I'll stop you there.
  5. And yet, not really the reason we are losing games. Lol
  6. 14 K's yesterday and 12 today so far. Just too many of those. That being said, you should at least be 1-1 when you score 5 runs in back to back games.
  7. After watching Sauter again, why even keep Milone? They're basically the same pitcher but one has some actual upside and doesn't cost much.
  8. Games have been close. I don't think Counsell has any trust in Jungmann. Well hopefully he feels the same on Marinez now too.
  9. Perez came in for Aguilar for the Marinez pitching change. Pina just pinch hit for the pitcher in front of Bandy.
  10. Braun with another nice defensive play. Please never leave. We don't have many good players let alone great ones.
  11. Brewers struck out 14 times last night and already 7 tonight. That's going to get old in a hurry.
  12. Play with college guys. Fine with me.
  13. Perez needs to make that play or at least knock it down.
  14. Sedar come on man, that play is right in grin of you.
  15. I don't think so. It's so early. But it would be nice to see him get something going soon and not end up with a terrible start like last year where his confidence is shaken by the end of April again. I'm probably just being pessimistic because I get so excited for this stuff and so far it feels like nothing's going our way. Very early. Reactionary post.
  16. Braun smoked that pitch. And had a little chuckle rounding third with Arenado.
  17. Why do I feel that Broxton will be the bust we saw in the first half of last season?
  18. Bang-bang play from being 1st & 3rd with no one out. I don't think it was a straight sacrifice. Most likely was the players choice.
  19. This is an every year thing. The staff is so bad out of the gates that even if this team were good enough to contend, they have 2-3 pitchers that sink their chances anyways.
