  1. Pitch selection is a huge key to anyone's success but when Braun is Braun, he lays off the crap he's been swinging at today.
  2. I would of rather us sign Randy Wolf again. This is painful to watch. It's ruined opening day.
  3. What strings do we have to pull around here to get our game thread in the major league forum where it belongs? We might be winning this game if we had our stuff together today.
  4. He doesn't belong batting 6th whatsoever. He was doing well at the top in spring training and for whatever reason Craig moved him down and he starts struggling. Where you bat shouldn't do anything to you. If he's that weak mentally he won't make it anyways.
  5. I'm not sure why people are getting upset that we are stashing Garza on our DL?
  6. I have always wondered why this wasn't already happening. They should have a venue where local bands come and play before games for people to enjoy near the parking lots. Yes, people want to tailgate but it could add even more to the "party atmosphere."
  7. I think the depth on this team and throughout the organization could be at its all time high. Everywhere you look there is someone lurking in the background waiting for a guy on the 25 to suck just enough to get their opportunity.
  8. I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that. http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/seuss/images/b/b7/Cat_page_logo.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20120527060656 lol, that was good. I like that.
  9. I think that was more frustration because (I think) there was something there...if only he could have not been so injury prone. TT knew that going in when he drafted him though...or at least I hope he did. Sure that makes total sense for the fan base going crazy after releasing him and not signing him again. It just gets old with people blinded by their fandom of a team. Plenty of other college teams out there to find players for me. Rather not deal with people telling me that guys like Abby are not a dime a dozen in the NFL. I mean, Gerome Allison has done more in a shorter time and the fan base wouldn't even care if he was cut tomorrow.
  10. I dread when the Packers get a Badger on their roster because the fan base just can't handle it. The outcry of release Jared Abbrederis was the last straw for me and that's coming from a big Badgers fan.
  11. Beer prices are crazy but until people stop paying them, they will continue to be what they are. As much as I like to have a beer at a ball game, I'm there to watch a game and it doesn't bother me one bit that they overprice themselves out of selling me a beer. I do like to overspend on some nachos though.
  12. Looks like he's going to get 2-3 starts a week, replacing Thames on occasion vs. LHP, and when Thames goes to corner OF. But I tend to agree with you to an extent. They have a weaker bench today than they did before the release of Scooter, with Nieuwenhuis, who's a strikeout machine, as their lone LH bat off the bench. I'd have released Nieuwenhuis instead, and used Perez to back up Broxton. If Scooter could play anything but second base, this might've happened. Either way, Nieuwenhuis is not as bad as some want to make him out to being.
  13. Those Bucks just keep on winning. Big win over #1 Boston tonight.
  14. Because most people don't know much about any other prospects. He's easy to target and write in a trade proposal and call it good. Please come up with a Wily Peralta to the Rangers trade proposal that the rest of us can debate. Since you seem to be one of the only ones on the World Wide Wide with knowledge of "other" prospects, I'm sure you can come up with a plausable trade proposal in short order. I seem to be? Where did I ever say that? Step off the ledge their pal. It was a generalization of most fans. Most are just not in the know on prospects. It's easy to pick up and toss in Gallo because he's one of the known prospects out there. That's all the statement was saying. But please, contribute to try to call me out and look like a fool. Carry on...

  16. There's a good chance he's not the Reds starting second basemen.
  17. Still haven't announced the rotation 3-5 so could still be something coming.
  18. Batting third in the lineup against the Indians. Dinger too.
  19. Maybe he won't hit his numbers of last year but he will be better than Gennett. Not only at 2B but his versatility allows this team to do much more with Gennett off of it.
  20. Is that Kirk's younger, better looking, more talented brother? Either way, this move has nothing to do with Niewey. Scooter lost his job because he's a so-so hitter that plays only one position and for some reason was about to be paid $2.5mil to sit on our bench.
  21. Has anyone checked to see what Ryan Braun is up to today?
  22. Boy, if you don't see the difference between a college athlete and a high school one this debate might as well end.
