  1. Nice play by Villar to get the trail runner there.
  2. Davies not attacking hitters at all tonight. Nibble nibble.
  3. Which one of Braun or Thames plays RF if they want to keep Aguilar in the lineup?
  4. Who sits? Arcia needs to play everyday, Shaw had two doubles, yesterday and Villar is our lead off hitter that smoked a ball and worked a walk late in the game. The OF is right handed heavy. 1B maybe if Aguilar wasn't on the team but even there I want to see Thames play. We paid him, now play him. Villar has fanned 4 times now in 6 PA You don't sit your leadoff hitter the second game into the season. He was too good a year ago to do that.
  5. Well Braun could easily have two hits on the season. Arenado is fun to watch, wow.
  6. I wasn't trying to start anything or upset anyone about it. I just liked seeing it on game days but oh well, back to the game. Davies did a nice job working out of that mess.
  7. Nothing is stopping you from making a GT and only mods can pin threads. I guess I kinda thought there was a select crew that did it.

  9. No offense to adambr2 but what happened to our nice game threads that have our lineups, a little write up and that are pinned atop all forums here?
  10. Just in time for the beginnings of a playoff push. Good thing we didn't cut Garza.
  11. Only the Brewers lose their ace in their opener and now the fans have to sit and watch a guy like Malone. Disgusting.
  12. You can ask it but it certainly doesn't matter. Villar is the superior player and only one year older.
  13. I want Millone to get lit up badly in the next ten days and Suter to be lights out so we hopefully see the end of Millone as a Brewer. I hated every minute of his innings yesterday.
  14. Glad I went with my second choice. Hopefully he gets the start over Millone.
  15. Erased. I say bring in Brent Suter and let him start. He's 26 already and on the 40 man.
  16. Because Scooter has no place on the team now, or in the future. This season is all about trying to see exactly what they have in Villar and probably to a lesser extent Perez. They knew exactly who Scooter was as a player, which is limited offensively and defensively, and determined (rightfully in my opinion) that he is not a core piece going forward. 2017 will further help them decide if Villar and Perez are. Don't waste your breath. He has his mind made up on a player and won't let it go. This trend has played itself out over... and over.... and over again.
  17. I mean Villar had a bad game today but this is a little over the top, even for you! Well Scooter did hit a two run bomb today so yeah, we [sarcasm]definitely[/sarcasm] made the wrong decision and we should've DFA'd Villar. We'd be 1-0 right now!
  18. Mistakes are going to happen. This one could come back to haunt Stearns but he's young and hopefully learning and growing as he goes. We tend to beat these types of things to death around here.
  19. I don't think it's such a crazy thing that they go to a 12 man pitching roster and add another LH hitter to the bench. It didn't help that we have to go to our bench so early today because of an injury but it shows how short handed we can become in situations like that.
  20. Please don't tell me that you're actually suggesting that Villar should have been waived. Talk about your Opening Day overreactions. The guy wanted Khris Davis and now is referring to defense. Oh the irony.
  21. Would have been nice to have a lefty pinch hitter in that situation to not allow that breaking ball to eat through our lineup.
  22. I like him at 2B. I think he'll have a much better defensive year than last. And while it's not an error, it was definitely an easy turn that he just bobbled that allows Colorado to tie the game. And now he hesistates covering second and we are down. Villar is a mental midget. Hope he matures at some point.
  23. I wish Bandy had a more normal number. Looks like we are still in exhibition mode.
