Braun should have been awarded a walk.
-
First step is admitting the problem.

Should just rename this thread how do we fill the glaring hole in CF. maybe in a month this team is playing .500 or better and Phillips is mashing in AA ball. Maybe he's the answer that's closer than expected? Just saying. Arcia too. Maybe he's the answer at SS moving Villar to 3B and now both of our lineup holes are filled.

Your plan is an option but why would we bring a guy up this year who's young and give him all this experience just to option him back down in a year? That part doesn't add up unless he was awful in the MLB.

Gallardo was painful to watch. Im not just saying Nelson is a good pitcher, I said he is enjoyable to watch. Gallardo was the king of the 20 pitch 1-2-3 inning and that just isnt fun to watch on TV. Yovani just couldn't punch a guy out. I was one who was getting quite frustrated at the high pitch counts going in to the fifth. Yet he struck out over 200 batters, 4 years in a row.

2016 Milwaukee Brewers Positive Post Thread
pacopete4 replied to pacopete4's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Picked up a game on the division today. Out of the cellar in the Central. Only a game back in the Wild Card race. A chance to win a road series and to have at least a .500 road trip in STL & PIT.(two playoff teams a year ago) -
The Brewers now have 10 walks, in this game... Crazy.
-
Ryan Braun is a man! 7-3!!
-
Pablo would fit right in on a beer league team.
-
Jimmy getting screwed by a poor decision/horrible throw. All three runs are marked as earned. Not right.
-
Braun crushed that, wow.
-
Thatta baby Jimmy!
-
I hope they walk this run in.
-
Hill with a laser into right!
-
Hopefully whoever wants Lucroy won't care that he's flat out lousy on catching stealers. Terrible mechanics. Terrible. Lucky that Marte thought he was Gomez for a second.
-
Santana comes through, 3-0! I love seeing that pitch count in the 70's in the 4th.
-
Broxton, come on man. Gotta put the dang ball in play at least.
-
I would be pretty patient to when I know I am not going to get a strike. Kind of obvious he was going to get nothing to hit with the pitch...I mean Hill behind him. Hill is swinging a wet noodle up there. Rivers and Walsh need to start getting some PT there.
-
Chris Carters patience is worth the $2.5 mil alone.
-
Hopefully we don't miss out on the tack on run. Dang it Luc.
-
Good AB from Villar there. Thatta way! 2-0!
-
Nelson pitching well again. Nice to see it being repeated early this season.
-
Jaso gets on base more over his career. Could be the reason

6-9 is a complete black hole with the lineup vs. Locke. Gonna need 1-5 to be hot tonight.
