  1. Game. Over. Please let Maldonado catch tomorrow. Can't watch Lucroy again. Awful.
  2. 7-8-pinch hitter in the 9th. Rogers blast ties it. Or Schaffer K ends it.
  3. Do you think Pit would take Braun and Gomez for McCutchen? Serious question.
  4. and of course Davis didn't throw him out at second with that noodle arm of his
  5. Jimmy maybe using his curveball a little too much? Use that 94mph heater!
  6. Track meet in Pittsburg. Luc can't hit, can't catch, can't throw. Time for a day off. Maybe two...
  7. This is actually a positive thing. Barry is a jerk. Much like Sheffield.
  8. Just wondering, but do you honestly think a new manager is what is causing this teams offensive woes? I hear a lot of complaining about RR but can never really get to that thinking that just some new manager will all of a sudden get Lucroy to hit or Braun back to his all star abilities. It just doesn't make sense to me. Managers mean very little in baseball when it comes to the talent playing up to their abilities. Someone has to be accountable, and if our manager doesn't make the players accountable, well, you can figure it out... I'm not blaming RRR for Lucroy and Brauns struggles, but I am blaming him for being a horrible game manager and decision maker. I think the players view RRR's tactics and management as stale. We don't win with him, the players seem to have ho-hum attitudes, which is a direct reflection on management. I don't understand when people say that managers have no impact on games outcomes or performance of the players. If that is true, then why have a MGR at all, why not let the players set the line-ups and make the game time decisions? RRR is a terrible manager, and it is time for a change. The fact he is still here after last year's debacle is amazing to me... It's fine if you think it might be time for a change but going by "we don't win with him" and "RRR is a terrible manager" is quite ridiculous. It was proven in this year that if he is given quality players, HE WILL WIN. He's been far better than most managers this franchise has ever had and he should be given more than 10 games into this season to get this club going in the right direction. Seems
  9. We'll take two of three this weekend and get back on track!

  11. Not a dumb question, but yes he is an agent & has represented numerous Brewers players. Very cool. Is he/she incognito or who is he/she? And this may be silly but I'm adding him as a prospect on my MLB the show 15 game. Been awhile since we've had a catcher to get excited about in the minors.
  12. Agent39, are you an actual agent? A little confused here. Sorry if this is a dumb question.
  13. Very cool if we found a stud catcher like this
  14. now that the dog has his own merchandise stand; it has officially gotten out of control. I didn't mind last year since they were raising money for a good cause with homers for hank and such; this season has become a complete cash grab. If you're buying that crap, you have issues. That's my own opinion and it'll probably never change.
  15. Exactly; yes, it's early in the season but it's the same team from the collapse last year doing the same things, both while on offense and while on defense. No one is hitting, no one is hitting anything very hard, and they're chasing the same turrrible pitches. Also the same team from last year that was in first place even playing without a healthier Braun. Bad stretches happen to every team. The slow start has probably crept into the locker room a bit too with ending last season the way they did. A couple guys just need to get hot and it will be infectious.
  16. uggg same old crappy journal sentinel-level troll posts as we had last year Its not a troll post, I was as big of Braun fan as anyone, however since he got caught juicing, he hasn't been the same player. Braun batting under 266 no home runs. If the brewers are gonna get going this year, Bneeds to be close to the Braun of old. Im beginning to think he won't unless he gets back on the juice. Braun is suppose to be our star player, but he hasnt been a star in 2 years. He's had about 20 at bats this season. Slow your roll or start bashing all of them because none of them are hitting. Lucroy is our "star" player too and he sucks as well. It's early. R-E-L-A-X!
  17. Bottom line is that Schafer has no business on this team. The spot should've went to a guy like Clark or Rogers. A guy that can actually help this ball club win games. Shame on DM and RR.
  18. Sure would feel good to win this series, on the road, in St. Louis.
  19. Why, no one tells Gomez to stop swinging out of HIS helmet... Rarely see it on a 3rd strike from Gomez and because he has had way more success in his approach than Davis so far. When Davis is hitting, those big swings aren't happening and he's hitting the opposite gap. The problem a lot of people have with Davis is exactly what was being said. Anytime there are men on base, he feels as though has to yank one out of the planet earth. It's a silly approach and he'd have a lot more success just doing what he is good at.
  20. I hate how specialized baseball has become. I hope this new commish puts some rules in on relief pitchers being used. Annoying. And I'm not just saying that because the Cards do it quite a bit.
