My only gripe is that if you are going to make the game mean something (home field advantage for AL or NL), then the best players THAT SEASON should be starting for that league. Same goes for the bench players. It should be a panel of guys whether it is managers of teams or whatever that looks at stats and decides it. If you want a fan vote, fine. Then let the fans vote in the last remaining player for the teams as they do now. Fan votes are so stupid. So, so stupid.

I saw that the Dodgers are going after Carlos Lee. Wouldnt it be smart (if we are selling) to package Greinke and Hart to them for some top tier prospects? I mean Hart is WAY better than Lee at first and he's about the same hitter but more athletic and doesnt get hurt much and Greinke is a top tier pitcher. We should be able to get a ton back if we packaged them together. I like Hart a lot, would miss him, but it's possible to rake in a trade for those two together. -
A win today, 3 of 4 from the Marlins and then sweep them Stros and get back in this thing!

If (or when) we lose those 3 pitchers we better be trying to find a pitching staff. Hart will be the least of the worries.

Between the bullpen and inconsistent offense, this team isn't capable of going on a run like that. I'd like to disagree but you just can't. I wanna stay positives but it's getting harder and harder to. But hey, it's baseball. Anything can happen.

In order not to be sellers they have to beat the Reds in the final two games, go win 5 or 6 of 7 on the home stand and then take 2 of 3 from the Stros before the break. 8 or 9 of 11 gets this team where they need to be before the break. Remember how hot they got after the break last year. We weren't on some 96 game win season pace the entire year. It's impossible for more teams to do that.

If I managed against the Brewers and I had a pitcher throw Weeks anything but sliders/cutters, I'd take him out. Not being able to adjust to one pitch will define Weeks average career.

I wanna be positive but I feel like this will be another tough loss for the crew and another signal to start working deals to get the most for the guys we have. Wouldn't it be great to trade Greinke and then sign him in the offseason again?

I'm only 28 and I find it completely ridiculous that pitchers don't run out balls. I'd fine the heck out of them. That's bush league.

Martin earned his way onto this team. It's a joke that it'll even be in question. His catching ability is just awesome to watch. His timely hitting and huge hits at the back end of the order are a welcomed site. Crazy discussion even but I'm sure he'll go back to AAA and rot. -
I just can't see how we take another shot on not only Gamel staying healthy let alone actually producing at an above average level like Hart will and he rarely misses games along with seeing how well defensively he plays to me it's a no brainer if you can extend at hometown discount.

You're right.. all it took was for Loe to bare down a little harder to get the out. If he can't than he shouldnt be in the majors.
