  1. For a 3hr movie, seemed quicker. For the Buzz, hype, and responses, I didnt think it was anymore than like a 7. Definitely liked Infinity War much more. Thor character change was a big *** r they thinking? Then you get the beginning of final scene. Starts. And at the very moment its going to end Thanos way, in comes everyone back to life to make a cameo save the day. Capt Marvel late but just in time appearance. Just didnt feel it. It made the ending to brief with these return alive characters. It was like hey we're back. And then half of them had 15sec cameos of being in that final battle. Oh and i wonder if anymore than 3 characters were actually together during filming the funeral scene. Looked completely like everyone was cgi'd in to that scene.
  2. This is on Chryst. He didnt go to QB2 as Coan clearly had nothing more than 20yards in his arm total on any drive. They went wildcat that 3play stretch gained about 30? Then the idea of having a TE try blocking that DE? More than two failed times. Adjustments? None. Not even more wildcat. Meanwhile OSI seen they need to make any kind of playcalls that took Baun out of the play and boom found success. Total embarrassment from about 16 of those players on the field today. No fire, drive, or emotions shown. Lazy gave up on plays when beaten slightly. Sad day to be Badgers fan.
  3. I feel like Rodgers' accuracy in the last three games is as good or better than its ever been. When was the last time you seen him miss his target on a throw that wasnt a throw away?
  4. It stands within reason that GB will face 500 or better in all but 1 game this season. 6-1 wouldnt guarantee a postseason.
  5. No some of us don't get cable because it's pointless otherwise? This one's working http://www.usasports.ml/2019/07/washington-nationals.html Well that link crashed my firefox.
  6. Just a feeling, but Nats 7 Crew 0 and over 12ks for Scherzer. Robot umps can't come soon enough mentioned at least 7times here as Woody is squeezed multiple times while Scherzer gets special treatment. At least one run is scored due to a passed ball.
  7. I'm a little surprised to see Shaw on the postseason roster. Orlando Arcia 3 2 1 0 0 0 0 1 .667 .667 1.000 1.667 Ryan Braun 14 0 0 0 0 0 0 5 .000 .000 .000 .000 Lorenzo Cain 15 0 0 0 0 0 0 7 .000 .063 .000 .063 Ben Gamel 3 1 1 0 0 0 0 1 .333 .333 .667 1.000 Tuffy Gosewisch 4 1 0 0 0 0 1 0 .250 .400 .250 .650 Yasmani Grandal 13 1 0 0 0 0 1 7 .077 .143 .077 .220 Mike Moustakas 36 6 1 0 1 4 1 11 .167 .189 .278 .467 Hernan Perez 5 0 0 0 0 0 0 2 .000 .000 .000 .000 Travis Shaw 6 2 0 0 1 1 2 1 .333 .500 .833 1.333 Cory Spangenberg 6 0 0 0 0 0 0 2 .000 .000 .000 .000 Eric Thames 9 3 2 0 0 1 2 3 .333 .455 .556 1.010 This is the batting lines vs Scherzer of this roster. 16hits all told in 114ABs Shaw has 2 of them (1HR) with 2 BBs. Cain/Braun are combined 0/29 with 12Ks. There's a huge reason why the Nats are favored. Hiura and Grisham can maybe improve what is essentially a dead lineup w/o Yelich who was 10/29 with 3HRs. Only other HR hit by a Brewer vs Scherzer was Moose in 37ABs. The team's hopes are that while Scherzer may be throwing a no-hitter thru 7IP, he's removed and replaced by Corbin who the team has at least success against. Strasburg vs Brew are pretty much just as bad.
  8. Having this moment, I'll say Lafleur as new coach. When Adams went down before, the playcalls went kinda to crap. Adjusting from Adams #1WR to how it rotated. In that moment he failed to call on the new alignments and just went with Graham
  9. Pederson didnt challenge because that wasnt an impact play. Up 7. Save it for a td or 1st down. Not a gain of 8 on 1st down
  10. Not havingng Adams ended that drive.
  11. Alex Light. Worse than Spriggs. Time to end his season and find a new RT2
  12. Badgers are certainly in the discussion. Having a healthy Taylor to display at least 1game has to sway some votes our way. Give it 4 weeks and check back with where the other teams are sitting at.
  13. So going in to the last 10/11 games of the season, The Cards/Cubs face eachother 7 times, and the Nats/Phillies face each other 5 times. With three spots to be determined 2 of the 4 teams are going to eliminate the other. Last team still hanging around are the Mets, who like the Brewers finish vs. teams that aren't playing for a Playoff spot. Watch out for them. Sure their last 3 are vs. the Braves, but the Braves have already clinched the division and will probably be setting up for their 1st round series and resting starting players that could use some. Huge win today. 6 more locks it up and probably hosting with WC1. Nats finish last 3 vs. the Indians who currently sit outside the playoffs, but could easily find themselves playing for the division that series.
  14. That is why I put a magic # count on winning division outright. To make the proclamation getting in the playoffs is inevitable, that assumes the Crew win the majority of their games too. The one known is that there are 7Ls in this stretch to be added to the Cards/Cubs season w/l totals.
  15. So with 11games left the Team owns its destiny needing 8wins to automatically make the playoffs. Magic number Cubs-10 Cards 14 for Division outright.
  16. Staring at the Standings. With the Cubs&Cards playing 7 vs eachother, the crew are currently +1.5games on the last wild card. Making the playoffs is inevitable. Especially if the Cards take 5 of 7 from Cubs. Edit add. I mean based on that fact the Brewers should have a higher Playoff odds than both Cubs/Cards. While Cards have a large lead on Division winning pct, up until they lose the first 2games of the 7 vs the Cubs.
  17. Grisham was the 15th overall pick in the entire draft, so like Hiura the pedigree is actually there, if you want to wait that’s fine, but after 300 games the extension’s gonna cost you another 30-50 million. Low mid market team needs to be ahead of the curve to have any chance at a World Series title. You mean potential, not pedigree. What led to this production? A setup change? How he holds the bat? The leg kick? Remember how that helped Broxton for a short time? This is why I want 300games before you consider an extension. Old habits die hard, this offseason Grisham returns a little to old habits and goes back to the unremarkable prospect he was leading in to '19? You have him controlled 6more seasons. You cant jump at the first sign of production. Wily Peralta?
  18. Simply amazed that September doesnt have a Cubs series. Has MLB caught on to the non-home field crowds and decided that looked bad on TV when broadcasting a game? Give a poor September to remove the argument the Brewers should have a game or two televised on ESPN since theyre in contention? Of course milw starts off the year with more home games than on road. Weather-proof to the early season weather.
  19. In no form should you consider extending Trent G. He was an afterthought prior to this season's statistics. This shouldnt be a discussion until hes a full 300 games in to his career, After he's shown he is this player moving forward beyond a year's worth of games. Hiura is a simple yes on extension candidate. From day 1 he's lived up to the batting skills hype. This isnt a surprise at what hes accomplishing.
  20. Yes..I said that..go ahead and think its dumb all you want..Im just not selling ANY major contributor to the major league club until Yelich's control is up..just my philosophy..im doing whatever I can to capitalize on that window now..Hader is a big part of that..heck im trying to resign Moose and Grandal as well and make a HUGE offer to Geritt Cole or another top FA pitcher. And besides..how much have those players helped the Padres this year? What's their record again? The bold part, why give a dumb fantasy trade idea from a team clearly not buying a Hader for 4 up and comers? It's an easy no because SD isn't remotely looking to add.
  21. Another BS by Jeffress, Woody out 6weeks, the team needs too many additions to address and not enough ammo to do so. The team is filled with 4ERA types Starters to Hader. As great as Hader is, he needs a game off like last night and the end result was all to predictable. We now know Nelson will not bring an impact moving forward. Chacin's season. You're missing three now atop the rotation having to rely on this shaky bullpen. You sell Grandal and Moose. Simple as that. I'm sure we can gain 2 future top 100 types in doing so. Adding Ammo to trade for someone this offseason or next deadline. Understand, Those two will be gone, the prospects you used for rentals, in order to patch up a team with a Negative run differential in hopes to compete this year. Its not 1 guy. Unless Stearns makes 4 trades in a matter of 30mins of eachother, the Cubs or LA or Atl will find a way to steal one of those 4 we need seeing the buying Stearns is making. Say we trade for Thor. We need bullpen, Cubs/Atl beat the offer for whatever the top bullpen guy we target. Or we find that Bullpen guy, and some team outbids our offer trading for Thor. Think about Schoop vs Machado. Not enough Ammo to buy the patches this team needs. I want to at least have a chance next season and the following few years to compete. Buying this year would cripple our ability for that. The idea of losing Hader/Yelich to regain the minors is idiotic. You do moves like that when they are rentals or in their last year of control. I cant see the additions to this team to not only beat the Dodgers, but whatever AL team we'd face in the World Series. No Home Field Advantage this year in either series.
  22. At this stage, after all these losses, Stearns needs to trade Moose and Grandal. Get back upside prospects that are more along than the draft picks would have been. Shaw at 3rd. Pina at catcher easy full time replacements. You just can't find enough fixings for the team with our minors. Hiura has to be thought of right now as #4 most important player behind Yelich, Hader, and Woodruff. So after him we're only offering up projects. Not one other stud to a team. And that's for the first trade! You have at least 3 to make.
  23. Funny post. Never in a trillion lifetimes, should he or would he extend Hader, way too high an injury risk over the 6 years. He’s a pitcher that throws nothing but fastballs, and it’s been shown that fastballs are hardest on the elbow. I’ll stop there. How's that Fastball injury rate working for Aroldis Chapman? You do know Hader can throw more than just fbs right? He's 25. Not 31. Nobody you replace him with will be near ad good as him. Now you waste 7-14million a year paying for mediocre replacements. Makes sense with the amount of whining already on how record payroll is still being cheap.
  24. Hader via JAWS on BRef is already 513th all-time for Relievers. And you can likely pencil him in to be top 375 by season's end. He's on a HOF arch at the moment. You never trade that, I dont care if its Vlad Jr. Extension talks should be considered after this season. You at least lock up his salary and give an extra 2 years control. Late inning. RP position solved for another 6years. Any poster here that even agreed to a Hader trade in this thread should be temporarily banned until after the trade deadline. Ya'll are that ridiculous to bring that idea here.
