But you are looking at his past as if it will be his present or future. His homers spiking last year could be a very good indication as to where he is headed as a pitcher. Not saying that will be 100% of the case but there has been plenty of people on here with data to actually back that up. Do you really want us sinking what is most likely our last remaining free agent dollars into that gamble? I just dont understand how he goes from allowing 13 HRs to 27 last year? Something DJ can fix?

Yea I really dont understand the Lynn hate on here... Yea his HRs spiked last year. Look at his entire career.

I have the same thing now... But how do I actually get 100 MB/sec? Because when I do a speed test, I top out at 26 MB/sec. How old is your modem? If your modem is several years old it might not be able to handle the faster speeds. I'll have to check... But I was getting 20 MB/sec with the 60 MB internet.

Anderson DL- Garza I understand your point but the Brewers in 2017 hadn't just traded 3 top ten prospects for Christian Yelich, nor had they invested $80 million in Lorenzo Cain. Those moves, combined with the success of 2017, have drastically changed fans expectations and smart fans recognize a glut of talented OF and a dearth of talented SP. This roster is oddly constructed and while I trust Stearns and think he has done an amazing job as GM, I think he may have misplayed his hand in regard to the OF and SP. Exactly, thank you!

Joey, I totally agree... He makes these moves for Yelich and Cain but then only adds Chacin and cast offs to rotation. Currently with the back end of this rotation, we'll need to score 8 runs every game they pitch... We'll be lucky to be in WC hunt come September. And he really doesnt see Cobb or Lynn as upgrade over Miley, Guerra, Suter, Gallardo??? COME ON!

Yea that would be messed up with we have an agreement with Cobb but ONLY if better offers don't come. Stearns wouldnt be that stupid.

No, I hear ya... I would MUCH rather go with the upside in Woodruff... He pitched very, very well in his first 5 starts. Anderson Davies Chacin Woodruff Miley For now, unless we sign Cobb or Lynn.

I like Suter as the long/swing man in the pen. Given those choices I'd go Woodruff and Miley. My guess is Guerra and Miley. No Guerra please... Give me Woodruff and Miley finishing the rotation if we're not signing Cobb. There's a reason why Junior didnt make his MLB debut until 30... And he was garbage when he came back last year.

I'd personally love to see Cobb in the rotation. I'm just saying that if the Brewers felt the same way, he'd already be there. Or we're not willing to pay his price..... YET.

Look at Miley's contract... He was definitely signed to be in the rotation.
