I would be fine with not adding another SP if Jimmy was healthy. Nelson Anderson Davies Chacin Woodruff But he's not right now and the current rotation of Anderson Davies Chacin Woodruff Suter/Miley/Gallardo/Guerra/Wilkerson Makes NO sense now that we have Yelich and Cain... No sense whatsoever. Wasting 1 year of our window. -

Man are we REALLY gonna go into the season with one of Suter/Miley/Gallardo/Guerra as our 5th starter? Everything Ive been reading lately seems like we are... What a disappointment that would be. -
Counsell said we're going with 8 man bullpen.

I really hope HH was legit on us adding Cobb... Adding him we would have... Nelson #18 overall 3.3 WAR Anderson #24 overall 4.1 WAR Davies #30 overall 2.9 WAR Cobb #32 overall 2.4 WAR Chacin #56 overall 2.4 WAR That is a very, very solid rotation.

Isn't Walker starting at 2B? Or is that Villar and he's your backup? Because Walker isn't signing here to be a backup. Agreed, Neil isnt coming back to Milwaukee to sit on the bench. If we get him back, he'll be the starting 2B and sitting 6th, if Santana isnt gone.

If Hoover has a good spring, I can see Barnes being optioned or Jeffress DFAd.

With the projections Ive seen on Arcia, I think he would be great in the 6 hole. Cain Yelich Braun Shaw Santana Arcia Pina Villar I like that lineup!

I feel like HighHeat wouldn't consider Arrieta signing with the Brewers "bad news" even if it is a painfully long contract. I have to think it means Arrieta/Cobb are signing elsewhere - perhaps one with the Cards. Yea Im guessing Arrieta to the Cards is the bad news. It better not be about Cobb... He needs to be in our rotation.

HH just said we havent been in touch with Cobbs agent the last 2 days, now a 20% chance to sign by Monday. More likely something gets done next week. Stearns, please dont let Cobb slip away... We need him in our rotation!!
