You could be right... Have been talking to Cobb.

I highly highly highly doubt we target a top tier FA SP. Nothing would surprise me more than that type of move. I think we roll with the current 4 listed plus an internal option(I say Hader, but someone internal) unless Stearns swings a trade for someone like Archer. I would love to add Hader to the rotation... But then we need to sign someone like Reed or Holland to replace Hader... Otherwise that's a big loss for the pen... Adding Boone Logan helps, but we need someone else if moving Josh.

Honestly, I would love to see us add Lynn... He would really solidify our rotation. Anderson Lynn Davies Chacin Woodruff

Really like that we're adding Logan to the pen, would like to see Reed added as well, but we'll see about that. Locks so far... Knebel Hader Barnes Logan Jeffress Honestly I wouldnt mind seeing us add someone like Lance Lynn to push Yo to the bullpen. Anderson Lynn Davies Chacin Woodruff Will definitely be interesting to see where the remaining arms end up.

Package Villar along with someone to the Mets for A.J. Ramos. Perfect trade, Mets need 2B and we need last bullpen piece. Could then go out and sign Walker for the right price.

Really liking this move the more I read about it. I say Hader gets a shot at the rotation until Jimmy returns. I would love to see this rotation come opening day... Anderson Davies Chacin Hader Woodruff Then once Jimmy comes back Hader goes back to bullpen... Unless injuries, etc. I would really love to see Addison Reed and Tony Watson or Kevin Siegrist added yet.
  7. DR28
Matt Albers and Tony Watson I can get behind that. Knebel Hader Albers Watson Barnes Jeffress But then Stearns needs to add to the rotation.
  8. DR28
My god, we're gonna be left with nobody... So disappointing.
  9. DR28
Another one gone... Rondon to Astros.
  10. DR28
We're going after guys like J.J. Hoover... Oh boy, book the playoff tickets now.
  11. DR28
Agreed! I want multiple arms as well. Reed and Watson would be ideal. Cubs and Cardinals are getting better and Stearns isnt being aggressive... So glad to be battling Pirates for 3rd place.
  12. DR28
    Come on Stearns!!
  13. DR28
And Cishek gone... To Cubs. OMG, come on David!! You better be getting us Reed then!
  14. DR28
Im guessing we probably won't land Reed... I would settle for Cishek... As long as we get Watson as well. Knebel Hader Cishek Watson Barnes Jeffress Williams or Suter
  15. DR28
Another one gone... Nicasio to Seattle.
  16. DR28
Yes, I am!! Stearns we need to add to the bullpen and rotation!! Please do something, before the good ones are gone! WE HAVE MONEY TO SPEND!
  17. DR28
Stearns its time to step up!!! The good relievers are almost gone.
  18. DR28
Sounds like signing Tommy Hunter instead.
  19. DR28
Shaw and Reed gone. DS time to step up and do something!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would love to know the names here... Brewers GM David Stearns told reporters (including Haudricourt and MLB.com’s Adam McCalvy) that the team is waiting to hear on offers it has extended to multiple free agents. Pitching is Milwaukee’s focus this winter, so Haudricourt assumes that the Brewers have made offers to at least a few arms. Stearns also added that the Brew Crew are willing to explore both signings and trades, and talks continue on the latter front.

Kinsler a Brewer? The Ian Kinsler trade talks have reached the point where the Tigers have exchanged names with interested teams, GM Al Avila told reporters (including Anthony Fenech of the Detroit Free Press and MLive.com’s Evan Woodbery). Kinsler has been seen as one of the likeliest players to be dealt this offseason, and it seems like a trade could happen at any point. The Mets, Brewers, and Angels are teams with reported recent interest in Kinsler’s services.
  22. DR28
Yes Rendon plays for Nats. Rondon is the FA reliever.
  23. DR28
Rumor has it we're exploring trade for Archer.
  24. DR28
We're talking with the Mets about Matt Harvey.
  25. DR28
I guess we're talking to Mets about Harvey. Mets looking for a 2B, difference-making reliever and insurance at 1b and OF.
