    No, no, and a thousand times no. Makes absolutely no sense for the Brewers to sign him. Especially since he's going to be greatly overpaid because he had a couple hot weeks in the playoffs. If he's overpaid it will be because of this postseason and his solid career thus far... I would love our new GM to make a splash and get us Murphy to play 3B... He would help take away that HUGE black hole we have at 3B.

    Thoughts on Span as our CF until Phillips is ready? Span will be a FA this winter... I know his 2015 season has been filled with injuries but he's been a very solid player and he would be a great lead-off hitter for us... I say give him a 2 year deal. I REALLY like an OF of Santana-Span-Braun... Davis and others would be traded for 3B help.

    Guessing Dominguez plays 3rd now... Doesn't hurt to see what he can do.

    Sounds like Jimmy added a curveball... Honestly I'm really, really excited to see how he does in 2015. As long as Jimmy improves and Wily keeping improving, we're going to have a nice 1-2 combo soon.

    Now that K-Rod pretty much pushes Tyler back to SP, I'm really ok with this. Jungmann & Thornburg as our #6 & #7 SP's... Yes please!! And I really love the bullpen now, so many options!!

    I know bullpens are a crap shoot from year to year... But damn we have a chance of a very good bullpen. K-Rod Broxton Henderson Smith Cotts Jeffress Perez Kintzler Knebel Wooten Thornburg (Probably goes to AAA to get stretched out) I like having Jungmann & Thornburg as #6-7 SPs.

    K-Rod is back for 2 years... Not sure on the money yet.

    Yep it has to be us... Not sure who else was in on K-Rod. Damn there's gonna be some tough cuts for this bullpen... Gonna be fun to see how it unfolds.

    I heard on MLB Network this morning... He's looking for 2 yr/$20 mil deal or the 1 yr/$10 mil. No wonder why he's still without a team... Doug please, please stay far, far away!!!

    Horrible after about the month of June last year, over .300 BA against, and was demoted off closer duties. At 35 could be the first signs of decline. But he was lights out before the AS break... ERA below 1... You could be right but to decline that quickly in the same season?

    The more I think about and the longer this goes on... I'm good with Henderson being our closer, I mean he was gonna be our closer last year. Henderson Broxton Smith Perez Cotts Jeffress Thornburg/Kintzler This was the makings of a very good bullpen.

    I more I read on Shields, the more I believe he ends up with the Brewers. I keep reading about teams not interested in him... I'm gonna say its either San Diego or Milwaukee.
