    With all the changes in the last few days, I have a new projection... Rotation Gallardo Lohse Estrada Peralta Narveson Bullpen Axford Henderson Gonzalez Gorzelanny Badenhop Kintzler Fiers Lineup Aoki Weeks Braun Ramirez Lucroy Gonzalez Gomez Segura Bench Maldonado Lalli Betancourt Davis Schafer Davis goes to Nashville when Corey returns... Lalli and Gonzalez become our primary PH bats... When Rogers gets his velocity back he takes Kintzler's spot in the Bullpen... I must admit, I feel much better about our Rotation now!! Gallardo-Lohse-Estrada could make a very nice 1-3!

    Since we're about 2 weeks away from Opening Day, I figured it's a good time to see who everyone thinks will make the 25 man roster. Rotation Gallardo Estrada Fiers Peralta Narveson Peralta beats Rogers for last Rotation spot... Rogers goes to bullpen as Long Reliever. Bullpen Axford Gonzalez Henderson Olmsted Badenhop Gorzelanny Rogers Olmsted beats out Kintzler for the final bullpen spot. Lineup Aoki Weeks Braun Ramirez Lucroy Gomez Green Segura Bench Maldonado Bianchi Gonzalez Crosby Schafer Once Corey comes back Crosby is gone... Green stays so the Brewers have another LH bat off the bench.

    I was reading on MLBTR and it sounds like Daric Barton probably won't make Oakland's OD Roster... Barton is out of options... I would like to see Doug make a move for Daric to play 1B until Corey returns... Once Corey is back, Daric would make a nice Bench bat. In 2010 when he was healthy, Daric put up these numbers: G - 159 AVG - .273 SLG - .405 OPS - .798 2B - 33 HR - 10 BB - 110 K - 102

    Assuming Ishikawa doesn't make the O's 25 man roster, which I don't see happening... I would love for Doug to add him again... He would play 1B full time until Corey returns and after that he would go back to the role he filled last year... I liked what Travis did last year. I imagine that option would be hard for Travis to pass up... What do you guys think?

    Except Gamel was left handed too and he was going to be the 5th outfielder once Hart returned. I imagine Davis will be 5th OF until Hart returns under that scenario. I'd be okay with Carp. He wasn't all that bad in 2011, and has played some OF. Now if he has shoulder issues that prevented him from playing OF, then that's a problem. I hope Doug makes a deal for Carp... He's a Gamel clone... Bats LH and plays 1B, LF & RF.

    Mike Carp is the best option out there for us... He's a Mat Gamel clone... Carp bats LH and can play 1B, LF & RF. Hopefully Doug makes a deal with Jack.

    This would be the perfect time to claim Mike Carp and play him at 1st until Corey returns.

    I sure hope not. Weeks is an ideal #2 hitter, and he finally become entrenched there at the end of last year. I'd be very frustrated if they moved him out now after finally getting it right. Aoki Weeks Braun Ramirez Lucroy ....... fill in the blanks until Hart gets back in the lineup. I agree, Weeks needs to stay in the 2 hole. To fill in your blanks... Gamel Gomez Segura

    The thing is that Bianchi will have to be DFA'd if he isn't kept, so I see that increasing his chances a bit. True... Ok Bianchi takes the Bench spot instead of Murphy... Haha

    I agree with all of this, except I think Bianchi keeps his spot. And I think Green makes it if a FA 1B isn't signed. There's also a chance that only 2 backup IFs are kept, and they go with a 5th OF. But seeing as the options are Gindl and Davis, I think Gamel will just fill that role. I could Bianchi keeping his spot as well... But my gut tells me Murphy wins out cuz he's a Veteran.

    I agree I love this move as well!! Awesome addition to our bench!! Now Doug just needs to find a RH 1B and we'll be set!
