I would gladly take Carp over Lyle... Make Carp our everyday 1B?
-
Anyone know how things work with claiming someone that was DFA'd? Do teams with worse records get first shot at him?
-
Any thoughts on possible Aug. trades?

I'm really hoping for Justin Morneau, if he's placed on waivers. -
I've heard that Corey might be the odd man out when Michael Saunders comes off the DL.
-
Well said. Well said... I'm still holding out hope of a waiver claim trade for Morneau. If that's even possible. It's possible if the Rockies put him on waivers and someone with a worse record then the Brewers doesn't claim him.
-
Yes if the Rockies put Morneau on waivers, Brewers can claim him and try to work out a trade.
-
Damnit... So Reynolds & Overbay it is huh.
-
Reports say Smyly was just pulled from game.
-
I guess Tigers are the front runners now... Smyly was pulled from game today.
-
Man I hope so... That would be so nice with getting Parra today.
-
Sounds like Price to Pirates.
-
Been reported Rays close to deal for Price.
-
I am nevously waiting by my computer for the next 90 min because i am almost sold that Davis will be involved in a HUGE DEAL...If not, i will be very disappointed. I have a feeling you're right... But I hope to hell you're wrong.
-
Why do I have this sick feeling David Price will be a Brewer by the end of the day?

Cardinals Acquire Justin Masterson, James Ramsey to Indians

Sounds like Cards might be adding Lackey as well... Reports are Lackey to either LA or St. Louis. EDIT - Dodgers are out on Lackey -
Justin signed a 2 year deal with Colorado this past off-season. And I absoltely agree, Justin is the perfect piece for us... I know he's been hitting in Coors this year but looks like he's fully healed from those concussion issues.
-
I could be wrong but I don't think A's will get a draft pick... I remember MLB Network talking about that last night... Whoever trades for Lester won't get a draft pick.
-
I would love for Doug to get us Morneau today... He would be the missing piece we need. Imagine this lineup... Gennett Lucroy Braun Ramirez Morneau Gomez Davis Segura
-
Ishikawa back to Brewers? He's better then Overbay.
-
Seriously how the hell could we not put something together for Ike!!!
-
McCalvy just tweeted... Brewers sign Jeffress to Minor League deal. My guess is he'll be in the Brewers bullpen by May 1st.
-
Wooten was called up when Kintzler went on the DL... Herrera was called up for Overbay.
-
I'm good with bringing back Jeffress to be a bullpen piece... Wooten back to AAA, Jeffress takes his spot in bullpen.
-
I agree... I believe Ike will be playing 1B sometime in the 2014 season.
-
Just saw a report the Mets still want to trade Ike Davis... I know people on here don't want him but anything is better then Overbay. Reynolds/Davis platoon would be very nice!
