Parmelee is 26. Born February of 1988. http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/p/parmech01.shtml Haha I can't subtract... Thanks But nevermind... Parmelee was optioned to AAA.
-
Ok then how about Chris Parmelee?... I see the Twins placed him on waivers... He's only 23 years old. Take a flier on the kid that is 14 years younger then Overbay.
-
Anything is better then a washed up 37 year old Overbay.
-
Sure, and have him as emergency catcher too. I could get on board with that. Yep that's what I was thinking... And when George doesn't start, he would be our lefty PH.
-
I see the Cubs released George Kottaras... How about him to be the left side of 1B? I would much rather see a Reynolds/Kottaras platoon then Reynolds/Overbay.
-
Weeks + Brewers pay some of his salary for Moreland... Come on fellas make it happen! This would make perfect sense, Brewers were interested in Moreland earlier this offseason and Rangers need 2B help.
-
Flynn? He's talking about Matt Flynn.
-
Might just be me but I really like our 1-5... Gomez Segura Braun Ramirez Lucroy Probably in the top 5 or 10 of MLB.
-
There's gotta be trade coming... Overbay, really?????
-
Just read on JSOnline... Francisco's locker is completely empty... We're really going with Overbay?? I really think we're making a trade for Ike or someone.
-
I think this will happen and O and Juan Fran will be cut. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised to see Juan Fran shipped to New York with say, Ariel Pena, for Ike. Francisco backs up Wright at 3B and Duda at 1B. I just really like the idea of buying talent, which Ike has, cheap even if it never pans out. Make it happen Doug. I absoletly agree... Come on Doug we want Ike!!
-
Mets are shopping Ike Davis again... I still believe Doug will be after Ike. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/mlb/4162
-
I hope this is true... I would trade Weeks in a heartbeat for Phelps. Phelps would make for a really nice LR/#6 SP.
-
Supposedly the Brewers watched Madson throw... I doubt we sign him but he's worth taking a flier on... When healthy he's a good reliever.
-
I believe the 3.5 million salary is only if someone claims him before 2 PM tomorrow after that he'll be a FA. But I agree he would replace Bianchi and 2B is his best position so he would be a good platoon mate with Scooter.
-
Reports say multiple teams are interested in Bonifacio... I sure hope Milwaukee is one of them.
-
Yea I have no idea.
-
Sounds like Cruz to the M's is just a matter of time... Gotta imagine Doug trys to get Smoak. I would be good with a Smoak/Reynolds platoon... Although Smoak is a switch hitter... But I haven't looked at his splits.
-
I'm still holding hope that we acquire Ike Davis... But not for Thornburg or Nelson. Davis/Reynolds platoon!
-
As long as Thornburg or Nelson isn't dealt, I hope the talks aren't over... Ike makes so much sense for the Brewers. Davis/Reynolds platoon would be ideal.

K-Rod back to Milwaukee for the 2014 season. I like it! -

I agree go after Bailey... Take away his 2012 season and he's been really good... Would be a nice set-up option and has closer experience in case something happens to Jimmy. http://espn.go.com/mlb/player/stats/_/id/30096/andrew-bailey -

Haurdicourt said on Twitter, Brewers are kicking tired on several FA relievers... I wonder who else to would be besides Marmol and K-Rod. -

Yep looks like K-Rod it is... Possibly. -
I know Bleacher Report isn't the most legit site... But they ranked all 30 MLB rotations going into ST... Have the Brewers at 14th. Seems about right to me... But I could also see the rotation being better then people think.
