If they are so afraid to play Gamel against a LHP then I would rather see Counsell play 2B and McGehee at 3B. Hall can't hit anyone right now, Counsell has a better chance against a LHP.

It's too bad there are so many good 1B in the AL, because of that Branyan will probably not make it into the All-Star game and that is a shame. He deserves it.

I wouldn't mind Meche. Like someone else said his WHIP is a little scary but he strikes guys out and is a solid stater who eats innings.

Gallardo was fantastic last night. I just love watching him go to work. If we can get the rest of our rotation to settle in a little bit I think we will be fine and can for sure get back to postseason.

This game has the makings of a 2 hour pitchers duel. Looking forward to watching this match up of two of the best young stud pitchers in all of MLB. Hopefully Gallardo can get a little run support and shut down the Giants offense and pull out his 8th win.

He was awesome and very weird all at once. No doubt my favorite Jackson tunes are "Billie Jean", "Smooth Criminal" and "Rock With You". Never forget when he did halftime at the Super Bowl that one year and didn't move for what seemed like an eternity. On a Jackson/Brewers related note I think i heard when TH was on the D-List on afternoon on 540 AM that after each Brewers win this season they blast a Michael Jackson CD, not sure which one though.

Maybe we will make a trade by then for a starter? Or maybe they move Gallardo up? I'm glad I am going to the Timber Rattlers game on Friday the 3rd, won't have to watch what could be a miserable game in Suppan vs Zambrano.

I hope Mike Burns can pull a Chris Saenz tomorrow afternoon now and get this series.
  9. BrewCrewForever
Well they don't have to be pretty, they just have to be "W's".
  10. BrewCrewForever
Did anyone just see that ump? Looked just like Goose Gossage.

Looks like Little League night two nights in a row! But this time the Twins kick it around!

Stetter has been just awesome this year. Can't say enough about the guy. Looks like Melvin made the right move to let Shouse walk and put Stetter in that spot.

Please play solid defense tonight if nothing else, no more giving runs away.

$25Thanks, I really appreciate that. I guess I got a decent deal on it then.

Hall looked as bad as ever last night. Just totally lost at the plate. Now is the time for Macha to finally sit his butt on the bench and give Gamel all the PT to see what he can do.
  16. BrewCrewForever
    Oof Corey Hart.
  17. BrewCrewForever
I think we should just tip our hat and call the Twins our daddy. Twins you are our daddy.
  18. BrewCrewForever
We look pathetic right now, especially on defense.
  19. BrewCrewForever
I' not mad at Soup at all tonight. That last inning was all on JJ, he screwed up an EASY double play ball.
  20. BrewCrewForever
Hardy's error is exactly the type of thing that happens to a club struggling like we are right now and the type of thing you can't afford to do.
  21. BrewCrewForever
Hardy cost us 3 runs, Mike Cameron just saved a few.
  22. BrewCrewForever
Yeah, Rogers on limited pitch counts so far this year still walks guys but he is also getting a good amount of K's and has a low ERA. It will be interesting to see how he does when he can go a bit further into a game.
  23. BrewCrewForever
Butler and Rogers? I can think of 5 pitchers I would rather keep those those two - maybe even 10. I'm just a big believer in Rogers. If he stays healthy I think he can still be something special, I don't want to give up on him and see some other team reap the benefits.
  24. BrewCrewForever
If he is staying he better get a majority of the starts. All starts at RHP and even a some against LHP.
  25. BrewCrewForever
If we can get Bedard without having to give up Gamel, Escobar, Rogers or Butler I would be 100% behind it with no issues.
