I hope this was the final straw for the Hall still starting against RHP experiment. Macha is a pretty smart guy, he knows he can't continue to throw Hall out there at 3B against RHP. Gamel has to start playing everyday against them. If they wanna put Billy in late innings for defense that is fine. -
I have no problem at all with Counsell starting tonight. But why on earth is Hall starting over Gamel? That is such a small sample size, Macha knows better then that. Gamel needs consistent AB's. Him sitting against a RHP is not helping that. If Ken wants to start a right handed hitter at 3B against Johnson start McGehee.

Who's on your 2009 All-Star Teams?
BrewCrewForever replied to thefutureoftherapy's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I had been giving my votes to Pujols for 1B in the NL. I have now switched to voting for Gonzalez. -
Yeah, Gamel has shown flashes of what we have heard about him as a hitter in the minors. He has not been in instant hitter like Braun was. But there are not to many Braun's out there. I think Mat will get mor comfortable and hit better with the more PT he gets. I'm not concerned with him at all. I think if he gets consistent AB's he will be settled in by end of June early July.

Now if Bush can come back from his first bad start of the season tomorrow we can split this 4 game series. Never a bad thing for a 4 game road series.
-
Thank you Trevor Hoffman.
-
Seeing an error like that the start the inning has me a little nervous.
-
Great outing by McClung. Just got that fastball up to much to Uggla. Now if we don't get any tack on runs it will be Trevor time!
-
Perhaps the "Age of McClung" as some friends and I christened his time as a starter last season is almost upon us again.
-
Man, thank God we got all those runs in the top of the 5th. I almost agree with Rock, it's like they know what is coming.
-
Oh please let this inning end.
-
Nice to see us put a crooked number up on these chumps.
-
Oh, Bill Hall.
-
rluz, it has not been a ton of AB's vs lefties. But it seems even against lefties he is struggling. I know his season numbers don't quite show it. But it feels like it to me.
-
That a boy Braun! He smoked that pitch. Get hot Ryan!
-
I was wondering the same, I did hear they have a bunch of OF prospects just about big league ready so that could be part of it.
-
Bill Hall continues to suck against righties, lefties and tee ball tee's.
-
Man wished I didn't miss it, enjoy Tom Hanks. Green Bay not so much. Speaking of Hanks he was priceless on the season finale of SNL when Ferrell hosted during Celebrity Jeopardy.

Yeah the BS Report podcasts are awesome. And I third the Jack-O ones, he just calls him up at work and they talk baseball for like 30 to 40 minutes. I love it. One of my favorite BS Reports was when Bill had Michael Schur on from FJM.com, The Office and Parks and Recreation fame. It was informative and funny.

Macha on Rome wednesday june 3
BrewCrewForever replied to patrickgpe's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Great interview, I really enjoy how good Rome is at interviewing people. One of the best in the business. Liked Macha's thoughts on Gallardo and correcting Rome on "Moneyball". I'm just a big Macha fan, love listening to him talk. Just laid back and smart, knows and loves baseball. -

I skimmed this column. Probably going to the read the whole thing today. Simmons is one of my favorite columnist on the web, I hope with the NBA season just about done he writes more baseball columns. He has been pounding the NBA columns down our throats for awhile now.

I missed the show last night. Who were the guests and music guest?

Macha on Rome wednesday june 3
BrewCrewForever replied to patrickgpe's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Great, I will be able to listen at work. I usually hear bits and pieces of Rome everyday, did not hear about Macha yesterday. Looking forward to this.
