    It was comical reading the JSonline Brewers blog comments when TH posted the lineup. Guys just ripping Macha for having Hall batting 2nd. It's against a LHP, I'm fine with it.

    Heath Bell has been good for a few years now, you could tell he had nasty stuff. But with Trevor there he was just a setup guy. It worked out great for us that they let Hoffman walk and good for the Pads and Heath Bell. Most likely Bell and Hoffman will both be NL All-Stars.

    Yeah, I think we are better then the Twins as well. I guess I don't have any issue with Phillips saying what he said. I don't agree with him, I think the Reds are a much improved team and I think Votto is an amazing player but they are still a couple years away.

    I was there today. Man Gallardo and Hoffman were both filthy. Very fun to watch. Gotta love seeing the offense put up 5+ runs the past couple days. Hopefully they keep this rolling.

    I have heard people compare Gamel to Wade Boggs but with more power. It might take him a few years to get to that point but that would be great. I hope he can stick at 3B but if not 1B will be open in a few years for him.

    I like what I see so far, doesn't have big stats or anything but he plays the game hard and you can see he has a great swing. The more he plays the better he will get. I hope he at least starts all games vs RHP.

    No doubt, two days off in a row missing only 1 game to get ready for the weekend series is a great idea.

    I would not be against depending on health. I just think there is a 0% chance it happens. Just seems the ship has sailed on both parties ends.

    Here is who I have voted for in the NL: C: B. Molina 1B: Pujols 2B: Hudson SS: Ramirez 3B: Zimmerman OF: Braun OF: Beltran OF: Ibanez Braun is the only guy I think deserves to start from the Brewers. I think Hoffman and Gallardo should go as pitchers and Fielder as a reserve. And the AL: C: Martinez 1B: Cabrera 2B: Kinsler SS: Bartlett 3B: Longoria OF: Bay OF: Hunter OF: Crawford

    I'm wondering the same thing, could be a nice rental as he is in the last year of a deal I believe. And we will have Rickie back next year anyway. It's possible?

    I'm very concerned about Hart. Maybe it is a good thing he and his agent have rejected our long term offers. He looks lost at the plate.

    This could be a very fun NL Central race if the Cards can keep pace and the Cubs don't pull away. Imagine a three horse MIL-CHI-STL race for the central in the final two weeks of September. We got 6 vSTL and 8 vCHI that month, and STL and CHI play each other 3 times. At this point, it seems like everybody hates everybody.Maybe I'm crazy, but I'm a little more worried about the Reds right now then the Cubs.

    Oh I forgot to mention. While at the game today right before Counsell got that hit to break up the no-no I stood up in our section and yelled out "Hey everyone Chris Carpenter is throwing a no-hitter!", and then Counsell got the hit. I swear. It really happened that way. And we had a few Cardinals fans right by us in our section (109). They were not happy with me.

    Very proud to be a Brewers fan. Milwaukee has and has always had great baseball fans. We never got any credit for it, nice to see we are now. It has just been all gravy since Attanasio bought the team. It's night and day compared to the previous ownership.

    I'm guessing I will not be able to get a Gamel 8x10 signed for $18 through them. Probably $25 or more.

    When he goes to the opposite field it is a thing of beauty. It's just to bad he doesn't do it often enough. He has stunk this year, but big props to him today. That was pure clutch and it gave us a big win.

    The bottom line is if the Cardinals don't like the way we celebrate wins they need to actually beat us for once.

    I wonder what the Cardinals thought of the run off? They had to be upset about it. I thought it was awesome.

    I was at the game today. It was awesome, what a great pitchers duel. I don't think I have seen one that good in person before. It was incredible to see the Brewers all "run off" the field and not even celebrate. Talk about stirring the pot even more against the Cards.

    I'm a huge fan of Macha, but I think he has to go more berserk in that situation and get tossed. First time I'm a little displeased with Macha.

    Yeah that was a first. That just never happens. But of course it happened against the Brewers in this crap stadium in Minnesota in the series from hell 2009.
