Jeez that is harsh of them. All guy did was win Manager of the year and lead the team to the World Series in 2008.
  2. BrewCrewForever
That is nuts. I can't believe Joe Maddon let that happen! How does any major league Manager let that happen? Any of them?! Especially a good one like Maddon. That is nuts.
  3. BrewCrewForever
No kidding, it should only be a strike if Pujols says it is swinging or not. Albert has the final say.

Thanks Gorman. This is exactly why Parra frustrates me so much. He has all the tools but he seems to not have it between the ears yet the way Gallardo does. That is why he is so frustrating for me to watch. I love the guy and think he will be good, but right now he just makes me curse at the TV to much. And of course Ennder pitchers between 93-2002 frustrated me to, but most of them didn't have the stuff Manny Parra has.

I'm still willing to give him a chance at 3B. And if they chose not to have him play 3B I think he needs to play 1B then since Fielder will be gone in a couple of years.

Manny Parra frustrates me more then any Brewers pitcher, maybe ever.
  7. BrewCrewForever
I think Albert Pujols is by far the best 1B in the entire game and maybe the best player overall. But I can't stand him and his attitude.
  8. BrewCrewForever
I to think Gamel better start tomorrow. I was hoping he would today. I really don't like that he is up here just sitting on the pine. He needs to play.
  9. BrewCrewForever
I dunno, didn't he improve last year and so far this year? He seems better then he was in 2007 and 2006. I do agree on Weeks as well.

I just went over to the Mariners website and watched all the Branyan highlight videos from this season. Man I really miss watching this guy hit. I can't wait to finally see Russ hit 30+ HR's in a season something we all knew he could do if he got the regular playing time.

I'm hoping he gets a start today at 3B. And maybe Counsell gives Hardy or Weeks a day off. Be nice to see a couple extra LHB's in the lineup against Wellemeyer.
  12. BrewCrewForever
Ooops, my bad. I missed the second "L" in Hall. What is that a picture of?
  13. BrewCrewForever
Mike's right, that is why I have wanted them to bring it back for so long. It's just very traditional and old school. And "Milwaukee" looks great in the current font and color scheme. Can't wait to get a Braun jersey. Hopefully Olsen will send me an email back with at least a little more info on this possible change.
  14. BrewCrewForever
Yeah I think 6 is a little long even for a durable guy like Bush. I would for sure be willing to go 4 years. And I think that might get it done, not sure on the $$ figure though.
  15. BrewCrewForever
I emailed Drew Olsen about this asking if he had any extra info he could provide. If and when I get a response I will post it.
  16. BrewCrewForever
Oh man this would be sweet! I have longed for this day. If they do this on the gray or navy uniform I'm getting a Braun one for sure. This is long overdue. On a side note I'm glad they are only wearing the retro uni's the first Friday home game of each month. I feel the same way the players do about the retro gear.

20fry you are amazing. That scoreboard is one of the coolest things I have EVER seen. Incredible.
  18. BrewCrewForever
Angelos as the worst does not shock me one bit. Kind of cool seeing the owner of the Rays in the top 5. Mark A would have to be top 10 for sure.
  19. BrewCrewForever
It was a boring game, but a win is a win. And I will take them anyway we can get them. I wanna win the division this year so bad. After that taste of October as the Wild Card I want a division title so all the Cubs and Cardinals fans can eat it.
  20. BrewCrewForever
Invader that is a good point, after next year Suppan is gone. Thus they would have a little extra cash to throw Bush's way. I really think after the season a 3 or even 4 year deal with Dave would be a good thing.

Good call RyDogg, it's too bad all the national Deadspin readers will now have a certain view of us Brewers fans.
  22. BrewCrewForever
    RevBrewmeister, Monday Looper will pitch.
  23. BrewCrewForever
Hoffman 9/9. Just awesome. I know he will blow some saves at some point but being confident when the closer comes in is an awesome feeling. Something I couldn't say about Gagne or late season Torres last season at all.
  24. BrewCrewForever
Yeah Al, I have really enjoyed the Deadspin comments. They are fantastically funny. And I have enjoyed your comments on your blog. I would like to hear from HY here. I know he has posted here before, I just wonder if he will ever come back after all the comments people have had here.

I was thinking this same thing actually before the season even started. I think a 3 year deal buying out that last arby year is a good idea. Bush has already had some nice MLB season's and it seems since that minor league send down last season it has all clicked for him and I believe he is now a very good #3 starter. So I would love to lock him up.
