pitchleague this is the picture that is gracing the 2009 media guide as well as making a bobblehead of Braun in this pose.

Big fan. Love it in 2006 and I think I will like it even more in 2009 knowing that Braun will be on Team USA. And I think they are taking it more serious this time, they don't want a repeat of 2006 not even getting to the semis.

That is the one, thanks a bunch blingster. Mods, if you wanna lock this now go ahead.

I hope Kendall starts between 125-135. No more then that.

Does someone have a good copy of the now famous photo of Braun pumping his fist while round 2nd after he hit the HR on the final day of the season vs Chicago? I can't find it online anywhere. Thanks I appreciate it. I want to make it my wallpaper.

McGehee must be getting very excited, Lamb to. Although Lambe seemed likely to be half if a platoon anyway. This really stinks for Gamel.

You don't have to get it personalized right? It could just be your current license number but the plate will be Brewers themed. I think I would pay $40 extra, or maybe just get a Brewers license plate holder. We will see. Either way I think its cool they are finally doing Brewers ones after they have had the Packers ones for awhile.

Marney wasn't THAT bad. A ton better then Ann or Telly. I think we have just been spoiled by good ones like Trenni and Craig. And with Anderson and Schroeder in the booth.

Being one of Gagne's biggest fans I have to say I'm pleased with this. Very low risk and very high reward. If he pitches in a setup role this year like he did last year could be a pleasant surprise. Our bullpen is shaping up to I think be better then last year. I was shocked when I heard the news, I didn't think I would ever see Eric in a Brewers uniform again. Hopefully he has a strong camp.

He might end up being alright. I will give him a chance. But I can't see him being anywhere near as good as Powell. Powell was in a class all his own. Powell was supposed to be the guy after Uecker left. Not gonna happen now.

"He's not going to be happy about it. That's just too bad." That quote is a breath of fresh air. Nice to hear a Manager actually have some grapefruits and not be afraid to make right decisions even if the player is not the happiest about it. But yeah overall this is great to give Kendall more rest and get Rivera's decent stick more AB's. I too would be up for Parra being the one to work with Mike since they do have somewhat of a past.

I hope at least half the games are in HD, hopefully more. But I'm not optimistic that all the FSN games will be yet. Maybe next season.

I'm really gonna miss Trenni. Hughes sucked last year on the studio with Cirillo. I can't imagine he will be any better as a "dugout" reporter. Dude is so robotic and awful. I would rather have Bob Brainerd back.

valpocrewsader, I just went to www.fangraphs.com and typed in each players name.

Villanueva to me is best in the pen and that is where he has the best value.
  17. BrewCrewForever
Now that tickets go on sale 2/28 and the promotion schedule has been announced anyone seen a pocket schedule anywhere yet?
  18. BrewCrewForever
McGehee and Gamel will get more chances to shine now. They have to be happy if anyone is about this.

I'm not the biggest Bucks or even basketball fan but if they don't find a way to keep Ramon Sessions they are just plain stupid. That kid can play. Trade Jefferson, Ridnour or even Charlie V if need be but keep Sessions and resign the guy. He has me even wanting to spend a little cash to go see a Bucks game. When Redd and Bogut come back next year with Sessions starting at PG they could have a nice little "big 3".
  20. BrewCrewForever
Yeah, I'm sick of the retro bobbles and the retro jerseys.
  21. BrewCrewForever
I think if Suppan was making #5 starter type money no one would complain about the guy. But the fact he got such a big contract and he pitches like a #5 that is why a lot of people myself included can't stand the guy.
  22. BrewCrewForever
I'm glad Rottino was the one DFA. I guess I would have preferred Gwynn but I'm glad they didn't give up on Mark Rogers. He was one of the guys rumored.
  23. BrewCrewForever
Yeah I have been doin it since October. Also a member of "Team Homer". Right now my streak is at 5.
  24. BrewCrewForever
Brewers.com now has pictures of the Braun and Hoffman dolls. They look great.

hawing, my exact first thoughts. Thanks for posting this Pedro, also nice to see you! Haven't seen you post in awhile. I think this proves again how big of a baseball town Milwaukee really is. I think we don't get enough credit for that nationally.
