    Besides the 4 games I got to watch the Brewers play. I have most enjoyed watching every Rays game I have been able to. It's very fun to watch guys like Upton, Longoria and Crawford hit. If they can hold onto Shields, Kazmir and Garza they have something special in their starting roation for years to come. Did anyone else see Edwin Jackson last night? I had no idea he threw that hard. I heard he might be on the trade market this winter. Hmmm. Needs to work on control a bit but still very young and has electric stuff.

    Yeah so many great games. Heck, two of the three final games against the Cubs and the two walk off wins against the Pirates the final week that is 4 games right there.

    I would assume they will be airing a Brewers Classics of that game this winter sometime. For sure taping it when they do.

    I hope we don't trade Hardy. I would rather see him moved to 3B to make room for Escobar then moved off the team. I think he can put up the numbers offensively for a 3B and I know he will stick it there and make all the long throws with no problem. To me Hardy is the 3rd most important piece on this team behind Braun and Gallardo. i would trade Fielder or Hart before Hardy.

    I love Jenkins, he was always one of my favorite Brewers good for him. But I just don't like the Phillies all that much. I was hoping for a Dodgers series win.

    For anyone with a new Beckett, what is a 2008 Topps Chrome copper refractor of Ryan Braun book at? The card is numbered to 599 and I believe copper refractor's are 1:12 packs. I had to get a few things at Target during my lunch break today and picked up a couple of packs of Topps Chrome and pulled it. I have not bought any packs of cards in quite some time, it was fun to open a few. I usually just buy single cards off ebay when I do purchase cards.

    My exact thoughts. But if there is someone better out there they should look that way. But if I was Melvin the interview would start like this: "Dale, thanks for having me over and that to have this meeting we are really considering you to be the Manager of the Brewers in 2009 and that, we like how the team played and responded to you the last 12 ballgames and that, however I do have to start this off with a very important question. Why did you start Jeff Suppan over Yovani Gallardo in game 4 of the NLDS if you were willing to use Yovani out of the pen for 3 innings? I would like a good answer please."

    1. A World Series Championship. (that is the goal every year no matter how unlikely) 2. A full year of Yovani Gallardo 3. Manny Parra really breaking out and throwing more strikes and going deeper into games. 4. Braun healthy and putting up numbers bigger then his rookie year. 5. No Yost. 6. Hardy improving once again. 7. The first Cardinals game on Memorial Day, it should be full of fire and emotion after this past seasons events.

    Ha, that is what I first thought of. For real though the only guys I would take for Braun would be A-Rod, Evan Longoria and maybe David Wright. But honestly I wouldn't even think of trading Braun.

    The misses and I finally rented Iron Man on Friday night. I'm so disappointed in myself that I did not see that film in the theater. It was great, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark was spot on. It wasn't as good as Dark Knight as far as comic book movies go but I think I may have liked it more then the original X-Men and I loved that movie. Iron Man is a buyer.

    I think Hardy may have been the hardest magnet to find. Even more so then Braun, Fielder or Sabathia. At least it seems that way.

    For some reason I can't get my Windows Updates to install. I have XP and "Windows XP Service Pack 3" won't install. Anyone know why? Or how I can get it to?

    That does sound cool. I always enjoy that facet of MVP 05'. Being able to build the Brewers the way I want to.

    Yeah I snatched the Octoberfest wallpaper a few days ago. But I did not see the celebration one until now. That is sweet!

    I to have to echo that Beltre to the Brewers is a possibility but not for Fielder. That deal would be way unfair to us.

    That would be appreciated. I would love to get a shirt with that logo on it. $30 is quite a bit for a shirt though.

    I would consider it, but then we would probably let Branyan walk. Not sure how I feel about that.

    No matter what happens the close to 4 months CC pitched for us were some of the best in Brewers history and will go down as some of the best in CC's career. And I enjoyed every single start he made for us. We will all be telling people about it years down the road as will MLB talking heads years down the road. It was fun.

    He could, but I think at first you will see him in the 2 or 7th spot in the lineup.

    Without CC, I just don't see us competing for a playoff position. It seems a lot of people feel this way. I am not one of them. Yes CC gives us a much better chance, but even without him we can compete, just need Doug to do a little work this offseason and add a few pieces and we will compete again in 2009. I have no doubt's.

    And signed for 3 more years at a very team-friendly rate.I forgot about that, another good reason to try to trade for DeJesus. He would be a nice catalyst at the top of our order getting on for our RBI guys. And he himself has a little pop which is nice.
