I like it a lot. Big fan.

Well said Peavey, I to am pulling for Macha.

Michael: "Are we gonna have sex?" Holly: (silence) (smirk) "Hell yeah." That was funny. Then Michael: "Probably get soup, or something light."

Well all the Valentine or Johnson hopes are crushed. I'm willing to give any of the three guys a chance, but they all have faults. But they all seem to bring some positive things to the table as well. And one big positive is none of them are named Ned Yost.

I really thought it would be a year or two before Ned got another Manager's job. Looks like I might be wrong. I figured he could get a job as a coach somewhere this season, but if lands the Mariners job, wow.

I have liked all episodes this season. But this might be the best. All the third date stuff was great as well as all the auction stuff.

DeJesus is my choice for CF in 2009. I want Doug to get that deal done somehow.

I'm willing to give Brenly a chance. But I won't be happy about it. I think I would almost rather have Randolph. But of the three favorites Macha would be my choice. I guess I'm still praying Valentine or Johnson come out of nowhere and are announced the Manager. I won't hold my breath.

I suppose, Miller seems like he would be a guy that would get into coaching.

BJ Upton is awesome. What a throw.
  11. BrewCrewForever
    Stupid Phillies.
  12. BrewCrewForever
Yeah they really should have something for 1981. I mean they were in the playoffs and I think a lot of people forget that.
  13. BrewCrewForever
Well deserved, he was about as clutch as clutch could be. Especially the final game of the year.

Just read a post at awfulannouncing.com that MLB Network is in serious talks about adding Bob Costas to the team. Personally I would love that. Costas was great when he covered baseball on NBC back in the day and he has a real love for the game and knowledge of the history.

Heard TH on Homer's show on 540 ESPN today. Said he thinks even though Brenly has the ring that Macha is the name he hears most as the favorite.

Great news for Jack, he deserves it. Bad news for us. It's crazy all the great players he has drafted for us.

A banner simply saying "2008 NL Wild Card" would be fine with me. I hope they do it.

I'm still holding out hope and praying that this winter will be much more mild then lasts. We got just blasted last year, worst winter I can remember in my 26 years on this earth.

Wasn't Reynolds on Fox or TBS during the playoffs I remember seeing him on one of the channels during a pregame or the post game show.Harold was on TBS, but I believe he works for MLB.com hence why he would be part of MLB Network.

Heard this on my way home from work. I like that Melvin said they have already had discussions internally of moving Hardy to 3B and having Escobar at SS.
  21. BrewCrewForever
Over $100 for Vuke? He was good, but that is more then a Yount and Fingers signature. That seems kind of crazy.
  22. BrewCrewForever
This will be terrific, if only for the offseason opportunities to watch baseball and baseball-related programming. Amen to that! That is going to be one of the best parts of the MLB Network. And like others have said the Baseball Tonight like show that will air nightly will probably be much better then the ESPN version.
  23. BrewCrewForever
That is funny. And probably true, he did have Curt and Randy, big reason he was able to win that ring. I guess I would be okay with Macha. http://www.baseballprospe.../chat/chat.php?chatId=539

A true must watch for a hardcore baseball fan.

So will you have to pay extra as a Charter customer to get MLB Network?
