I like Valentine and Johnson. Either of them would be fine to me. Sveum can get the job if we win the World Series.

Less Hall vs RHP, don't care who gets the starts even Less Gwynn as PH More Villanueva in high leverage innings Less Shouse vs RHB No doubt, Hall should only play against LHP the rest of the way. If that. Gwynn should only be used to pinch run and a last resort pinch hitter in a long extra's game. Villa has probably been the most reliable out of the pen as of late. He needs to pitch in important innings. Dillard looked good last night to, wouldn't mind seeing him get some chances. Shouse should NOT face a right handed hitter the rest of this season.

I think this was mostly a Mark A. move. And I'm okay with it. At least they are trying something. I like Sveum and Yount leading this team the rest of this season, I like our chances.

I just hope Sveum does a strict platoon with Ray and Rickie at 2B. Also pinch hit late in games for Counsell and Kendall. Maybe give Rivera a start or two. Let Mat Gamel at least be the 2nd lefty option off the bench.

I already saw Iorg in the dugout during games last week. I feel really good about this. I like our chances, this might be just what can get these guys going again.

No doubt, if Doug is next to get canned. Jack Z MUST be the new GM. He has earned that right.

I was shocked when I heard the breaking news on 620 while sitting in my cube at work. It was a little after 2pm and I was typing an email and then BOOM! I couldn't believe what I heard. If this works, it would be amazing.

How 'bout now? Well, I would not say I'm totally relaxed anymore. But it's not like we are behind yet and we have not been eliminated so I guess we still have hope. But it is very small.

I also tip my hat once again to my favorite player Ryan Braun. He stood up and told it like it is. Calling the Phillies series a complete and total disaster. To bad the Manager can't see that.

You forgot adding that Mark A. has to sell the team back the Wendy Selig. Then we would really be doing it in style.

Gamel is 1-2 with a double off of Chris Young. He has been MIA since that double. I wish we could see him at least pinch hit more.

Worst night in Brewers' history?

Well since I was 1 year old in 1982 when we lost game 7 of the series. This has to rank high on my list of worst nights in Brewers history that I can remember. Losing 4 in a row to Philly and starting Sept. off 3-11 and seeing or wild card lead down to zero would have already made it an awful pathetic night. But then we get salt in our eyes and see the biggest jerk pile of crap on our biggest rival throw a no-hitter in our own ballpark. It hurts pretty bad right now. -
That guy sleeping was the most entertaining thing I saw this series. And Corey Hart stilling looking lose and relaxed in Philly! Congrats Corey!

Is this all the cause of the "no-hitter" that wasn't a no-hitter curse? Ever since that game things went down the toilet. Are we cursed because we were screwed out of it? Or because we complained about it?

Yes, I love me the Packers. But baseball and the Brewers are my first love. And they are making it difficult to love them right now. Honestly, especially if we get down another couple runs. Give the kids a chance to play, see what they can do.

No kidding he had one hot postseason and used to always beat us when our teams were average at best.

Suppan is a true waste. Looks like all his September and October pitching is really paying off for us.
