Since Gamel, Escobar and Salome don't figure to really play much they probably should have not brought them here. The only guys I would have brought were Dillard, DiFelice and Stetter for the pen. Rottino to be the 3rd catcher, Gwynn to pinch run and Nelson for some pop off the bench. That is it.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the info guys. Well then I just hope Escobar is cool with playing 2B because I would just love to have both.
  3. BrewCrewForever
Why wouldn't he though? I guess I don't get it, would his value not be as high if not higher as a 2B with his power? He won't do it that is fine, as long as Escobar would.

Yesterday at the game got a few signatures. At the players lot got Kendall, Yost, Maddux, Sedar and Skaalen. None of the other players besides Kendall signed. But the best score was during BP getting Gallardo on a ball. He said the knee was feeling good and he hopes to pitch again this season even if its out of the bullpen. I told him we could use an 8th inning guy.

Getting this first game would be HUGE for the Brewers. I just feel if we can win this one we can for sure take at least 1 out of the next three to split this very important series. I said when Sheets started against the Card last time it was his biggest start since the 2000 Gold Medal game. Now this is by far much bigger then that. Go get em Benny!

It is just not the way Ned is. So I would rather not have Ned make some statement like that anyway.

That fact that NONE of the Cubs games left this season are in HD is a true crime.

It is so go time. Offense, please score numerous runs today and for the rest of the season. Please.

Mark A. is the man, the only reason he has not been around much is his other business. I suspect he will be around when they return from the road trip. Heck, it wouldn't surprise me to see him at some of the games on the road trip. I hope so anyway, he deserves and should enjoy the ride like we all are.

Mota's In! Is not so bad anymore. CC is still undefeated. Hold ground, another day off the calender.

Yost has made it clear the guys called up will just PH. And they are not getting called upon to even do that till almost all other options have been used.

Points all well taken Nate82. I guess I just dream of a team with Hardy and Escobar on it. But I totally agree, Hardy has a pretty high trade value right now and could bring in some good pitching. If we had a Weeks and Escobar middle infield perhaps Weeks could be more productive as a 6 or 7 hitter with Escobar batting lead off. But I'm not to high on Weeks so how knows. I to think Gamel will be up mid 2009 or for sure 2010 but probably not breaking camp in 09' with the big club.

Nate82, you bring up some good points. My question is why do you want to trade Hardy? Wouldn't you rather move him or Escobar to 2B so you can keep both? Also for your 3B solution, no Gamel?

That is by far the best Wu-Tang solo CD. Boy, only one CD for the rest of my life? Very tough question I will go with Pearl Jam "Vs." with Zeppelin's "IV" very close second.
  15. BrewCrewForever
I would like to see Hardy and Escobar up the middle in some fashion. No more Weeks, please.
  16. BrewCrewForever
I was there and I'm exhausted. What a win.
  17. BrewCrewForever
    FixedGood one Fido. Lol.
  18. BrewCrewForever
    Strike 3 and 4 there.
  19. BrewCrewForever
    Bruce vs Gagne scares me.
  20. BrewCrewForever
He must have thought it was over his head so he just took off. But he should have made sure it was first.
  21. BrewCrewForever
    Extra innings again.
  22. BrewCrewForever
    Escobar has wheels.
  23. BrewCrewForever
I so wish Yost would change things up for one game tomorrow and start Gamel and Nelson.
  24. BrewCrewForever
Never, Ned wouldn't want to hurt their ego's.
  25. BrewCrewForever
Just start Durham, Seriously is it that hard of a concept to figure out Yost? For Ned Yost, yes it is a very hard concept. It will be interesting to see what Yost does with Kendall and the pitchers spot in the bottom of the inning.
