  1. I think Ned is afraid to hurt veteran players feelings by pinch hitting for them late in games. But at this point in the season, peoples feelings should be the last thing on his mind.
  2. I'm just hoping Parra can bring it tomorrow. He has the stuff, he just needs to trust it and throw strikes. And any given day this offense can and will turn around.
  3. Still have a 3 game lead. Were up not chasing. Ryan Braun is way to good of a baseball player to not break out and have a big game, and soon.
  4. I to would love to see Gamel but I have accepted the fact it will not happen this season.
  5. Well not tomorrow against Hamels. But maybe Saturday vs. Blanton.
  6. At some point with as much talent as we do have, they have to start hitting and we have to score runs.
  7. Fielder hit a HR tonight, finally. Maybe he will get hot and then Braun and Hart will follow? I'm trying to be optimistic.
  8. You know, I can't remember the last time Braun really squared up on one and hit a ball hard for a hit. I think the only hits he does have this month are infield hits.
  9. I have no idea. I don't know what he can do? I mean guys just are not hitting. I can't remember the last time we strung a bunch of hits together. Fielder did good tonight, but Braun and Hart have not hit at all this month and without them we are in trouble.
  10. Well Fielder broke out a lil tonight. But Braun and Hart both continue to stink it up in September.
  11. Tough game tonight. Braun needs to step his game up.
  12. Hey Cameron and Hall, see how JJ waited back on that?
  13. I'm trying my best to stay calm because this could turn around anytime but man it is frustrating. 2 on and no out and we get to K's and a week grounder to 3B. Yuck.
  14. It's only 2-0 but with the way we have scored runs this month it feels like 6-0.
  15. Lot of baseball left in this one folks.
  16. http://i.cdn.turner.com/sivault/image/2000/09/27/079010438.jpg I hope Ben, the Brewers and we feel like this after tonights game.
  17. Bill Hall is 5-6 in his career vs. Moyer. Lets hope that success continues tonight.
  18. What could Hardy bring in trade right now? A number 1 or a number 2 starter?
  19. 1) Oh yes, Nelson looks like he knows what he's doing. I hope he at least gets a bench spot next season. And if Fielder were for some reason traded he should get a shot at starting at 1B if no better options are out there. 2) Gwynn seems a 4th OF at best to me. Maybe on another team they could give him a chance to play CF everyday, but not here. He is just a pinch runner to me. 3) Lighting speed. Very fast. That is all I have really seen. I know that he can hit and field so I'm excited for what the future holds. 4) He should probably get a shot, but it is probably best for us and him if he plays all of if not most of 2009 at Nashville. He did smoke that ball down the line against Young when no one else did much of anything. 5) Stetter has potential. I'm pretty nervous about all of our relief pitchers at this point.
  20. This sucks. Kapler was by far our best right handed hitter off the bench. Had plenty of clutch hits this season. Terrible, yuck.
  21. I watched the Harvey's Wallbangers DVD today to pump myself up for this game (not that I need to be anymore pumped). I just hope we bang the ball all over the place tonight like that team in 82' did.
  22. Thanks MJ. It sure would be nice if the Brewers some day got big enough that they had their own network.
  23. Is NESN in Boston a Red Sox network? Like the YES Network in NY?
  24. I kind of feel the same way. I think for some reason maybe going on the road is just what the Brewers need.
