Charlie Moore has the most games played at catcher? Wow I wouldn't have though that. The other guys seem right on though. Does anyone else besides me get a little bit more pumped up for a game Sheets starts? It's like you never know if you might see something really special.

Congrats man! Must be a great feeling.

Crisp should have known this was coming. It wasn't even thrown at his head, it was just a brush back pitch that nicked him. Gomes did clock him though wow, and if Shields connects with his punch Crisp on lying on the ground.

Right now I would say they are there respective league's MVP's. As for who is having the better season. Probably Utley just based on position and his team is in 1st place. However like another mentioned Hamilton has very little protection in that Texas lineup other then Bradley. So I guess it's Utley but both are my MVP's as of now. It is crazy to think how well the Hamilton/Volquez trade has worked for both teams.

Man Maddux looked good last night. I would love to swing a trade for him. Hall and Gwynn should be more then enough I would think.

That worked, I now have all my music back on to itunes and all is right with the world once again. Especially since I was able to put the new Death Cab for Cutie cd on my itunes and then on my ipod. Thanks for all who helped.

I to am a big fan of Deadspin and was sad to read that post. Will is a great writer and he created Deadspin which is easily one of my favorite websites to frequent. I loved when he went on Costas Now and went blow for blow with Bissinger. I'm currently reading Will's book "God Save The Fan". I'm only in chapter 2 but it is very well done. I would reccomend it to anyone.

    I will go with 4-2.

Watching my two favorite AL teams play right now, Tampa @ Boston on ESPN. Glad that ESPN finally put the Rays on TV, of course its when they are playing Boston but thats cool. I have a fantasy interest in this game as well with Jackson pitching and Crawford and Navarro. Also looking forward to watching the Padres hopefully beating the Cubs on WGN.

If Kapler starts at least once maybe twice per week that would be fine by me.

First off, I don't think Kapler is much of a drop off on defense. Second I would continue to give Cameron the majority of starts but maybe give Kapler a few more then he was getting. I'm torn because I like both guys and see what both can bring. But its hard to not start to develop a huge man crush on Kapler, I see why those fans in Boston loved the guy so much.

If only we win that Braves game last Thursday. We would only be 2 away from free burgers from Webbs!

At this point I'm not sure Beltre is much better then Hall. Every since that huge year Adrian had with LA in which I believe he hit 50 HR's he has been maybe only a little above average for Seattle.

I didn't think it could get any better then cactus league nachos. I stand corrected, those look tasty minus the olives.

Like the icing on the cake!

    TSack27, great post. Good analogy.
  17. BrewCrewForever
My gosh Kapler is hot! You know even before this hot streak you can really see why people in Boston loved this guy so much.

I was calling for his head. And I'm still not sure if he is the man for this team. But if they keep winning Ned can stay. Hard to complain when the team goes on a roll like this.

Funny isn't it? I just keep looking back to after that Boston series sweep. Braun makes comments about how team didn't expect to win. Yost getting fired rumors reported by blogger and TH on day off before Pittsburgh series. Since that stuff all happened Brewers are 12-4 (assuming they win today).

Big props to Prince for battling that AB to draw a BB. I hope they save some runs for the Rockies series. If we don't lay that egg last Thursday against Atlanta we would be going for our 10th win in a row and have a chance at 11 and 12 and free burgers in Colorado.

I swear Branyan hardly hit that ball. I think he thought he got to under it.

    Oh my God!

2B: Rickie Weeks 3B: Mat Gamel RF: Ryan Braun 1B: Prince Fielder CF: Corey Hart LF: Matt LaPorta SS: JJ Hardy C: Jason Kendall with Salome coming up later in the year I love that lineup. Period. That will put up some runs.
  24. BrewCrewForever
No kidding! His 3TO% is going down.

It's nice to have a few pitchers like that who can hit so if your ever in a long extra innings game and you burn all your PH's. You can throw a Parra or Gallardo up and know they may get a hit. What a nice inning! 4 runs!
