    Big tip of my hat to Dave Bush tonight. I expected him to get shelled and he didn't. Big win, hopefully this is the win that builds something.

    Nice outing by Bush today. Glad he didn't get stuck with a loss. For sure earned another start.

    One thing we have going for us is Atlanta's awful road record. I think they are close to 10 games under .500 on the road.

    Yeah he looked weird not wearing sleeves. I dunno if it was just me but he looked to have really white arms. Didn't see any tattoo's. Heard that rumor.

    For some reason I still feel Gagne's injury is not serious and more a way to get him some minor league rehab work to work out the kinks and get more game work in his slider.

    For sure not DiFelice. But for some reason I wouldn't mind seeing Weaver get 1 or 2 starts. Worst case scenario is he is as bad as Bush which we are putting up with anyway. Best case he somehow does better then Bush. Villa is probably the best option but I think he is better out of the pen. I guess I'm still holding out hope we can swing a deal for Maddux.

    I think Villanueva is best served in the pen. Will be valuable out there. So I wouldn't replace Bush with Carlos. But I'm not sure who they should, maybe Melvin can swing a trade.

    I'm okay with the Tavarez signing. It's not like we have some great bullpen, lets see what he has left.

    So if Bush gets rocked again tonight, does he make his next start Sunday against Houston? I kind of hope not, I'm going to that game and it seems like every game I buy tickets for Bush is the SP.

    Just picked up Bruce in my fantasy league and dropped Billy Butler. Hope the move pays off. I also have a waiver on Clayton Kershaw, hope that goes through.

    Yeah, if Prince doesn't stand to admire it for even that 1 second or say he probably makes it into 2B.

    I thought Hall's 2005 year may have been more impressive then 2006. Sure he only hit 17 HR's in 05 which aint bad but he batted .292 that year which is awesome. I like Billy a lot, but dude just can't hit RHP and he was starting to be a butcher at 3B. I love the platoon though with Russell.

    I'm a die hard. I have not given up on Weeks, I know Prince will hit, I have probably been the biggest Gagne fan on this entire site and I will continue to go to games and watch games all season. But I still believe that this team just does not respond to Yost's managing style and they need a different direction, someone to light a fire under them and get them to play up to potential. I don't see Yost as that guy. Do I know for sure Kremblas, Simmons ir Sveum is that guy? No, but I think we need to make a change to find out. (edit: pared back long quote --1992)

    I'm glad Hall is upset, perhaps it will get him back to his 2005/2006 form. But Is till think that the Hall/Branyan platoon will work fine. Yes I know Branyan was 0'fer today, but it is still the best option.

    Well a 4-6 road trip, and a 2-2 split with one of the worst teams in baseball. I'm not holding my breath that Yost gets the axe. Guess we will have to wait another for our hopes and dreams of a Yostless team.

    We all know Branyan is gonna strike out so anyone that is surprised by his 4 K's today shouldn't be. Remember he also had 2 hits and a walk in his first game. I bet he goes yard tomorrow.

    Yeah TooLiveBrew it seems Weeks and Cameron have both somewhat turned it on. If Cameron can keep his AVG in the .250-.260 range and continue to slug and get on base that would be fine by me.

    I don't think they trade Prince yet nor do I think they give up on Weeks yet. So I would expect both to be in the infield in 2009. As for 2010 that is another story.
