Trading Fielder at the break this season and reloading with some good young players (ala the Rangers/Braves Teixeira trade) to go along with an already good group (Braun, Gallardo, Weeks, Escobar, McGehee, Lawrie, Gamel, Lucroy and Cain) might be the best idea at this point. This way we can kind of build, but stay competitive at the same time while the young players really come into there own and then maybe we can have a Tampa Bay Rays situation.

Wow, Corey Hart might be the worst defensive RF in all of MLB. He has been brutal thus far.

I;m not down on Melvin nearly as much as I am on Macha. Although Melvin did hire Macha, which says something about him. I still think Frank Kremblas was the guy to lead this team after Yost was fired. But they fired Krembals as well.

I would agree, they have not allowed less then 4 runs in a game yet. That is pretty bad and most game it has been 5 or more runs given up. Oh yeah and they are making Hernandez look like the guys that won a World Series for the Marlins in 1997.

I still wonder why they fired Frank Kremblas from AAA, he seemed to be the best choice to become manager after Yost was fired. Was there ever any real explanation whey Frank was canned? -

Yo with a decent outing today, I still don't think he close to his best. Still throwing far to many balls. I thought he always pounded the zone in the minors and I know he did in 07' and the little he pitched in 08' with the Brewers.

That is a great deal, I got a year subscription for $5 from amazon.com the day after Thanksgiving this past year. The Insider access alone is worth more than that. The magazine is decent to, not a lot of in depth articles but more pictures and quick little blurbs. When I made the purchase I mostly did it to be able to read Keith Law on the Insider.

Haha, and the Titanic had a good ride. Excpet for when it hit that iceberg. How appropriate! Today is the 98th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. Wow, that is crazy. I would have never guessed. Uecker must have the bottle of JD right in front of him like in Major League.

Somthing Positive - Pushing Weeks for All-Star Game

He just looks so mature at the plate now, of course it started last season but he had the injury. He has a great approach and when he gets the pitch he wants he hits it hard, even if its an out. I think he has a great chance to be an All-Star.
