  1. I gotta believe and hope that Weeks is out just to get Inglett some playing time since he has had the least of all the bench players.
  2. If Weeks is actually hurt or something I might cry.
  3. Give Inglett and Gerut AB's. And give Inglett some time in the field. He has not played defense yet this season.
  4. Macha works Gallardo to death but babies Bush when he is pitching well? I don't get it.
  5. I know the injury risk is still there and kind of scary. But man, they really should get Rickie and extension soon.
  6. I was in the "must sign Fielder" camp as well until I looked at the reality of signing him. If we do sign Fielder, we say goodbye to Weeks (in my opinion). Since the rumblings of what it will cost to sign Fielder will likely cause the Brewers to field homegrown prospects all around him and Braun, I am now more in the "sign Weeks, deal Fielder" camp. Complimenting Braun and Gallardo with Weeks, McGehee and pieces in a Fielder trade will allow us to be more competitive in the long run.Same here, I was all about keeping Fielder, but if he is going to want a $200 mill deal or close to that. The Brewers just can't do that, it would be franchise suicide to make that deal. Deal him for young guys that can contribute now or very close to now. Resign Weeks and move Lawrie to the OF to get ready. With Braun, Weeks, Gallardo, McGehee and Escobar we have a nice core and we have help on the way in Lucroy, Lawrie, Cain, Gindl, Arnett, Heckathorn, Rogers, etc.
  7. I still think I would give Zaun 2 months. If he is still doing nothing with the bat then, maybe it will be time to look at Lucroy or Salome.
  8. Al, let me tell you Time Warner is no grade A place to deal with either. I have had Charter and and now with Time Warner. And I can tell you that Time Warner is much worse. I actually had some good easy experiences with Charter, never really had one with Time Warner.
  9. Just great AB after great AB for Rickie. He works a count and doesn't give in. Waits for his pitch. Love it.
  10. Bush has pitched well tonight, but I to think a little better in his first 2 starts.
  11. Rickie playing so well this year. He just really seems to be coming into the player we all knew he could be.
  12. Fielder for Kelly and Buccholz. Any chance they do that?
  13. I missed the "semi-big" part. They are more then semi so I guess it won't be any of them.
  14. NL pitcher? Please be Zambrano, Wainwright, Carpenter or Oswalt.
  15. It doesn't even sound like there is any Braun game used stuff up for display or anything. That is kind of lame.
  16. It seems that Braddock is not a one batter LOOGY type. So I would call up Stetter for that role over Zach. But I am excited for when they do bring him up to be a late inning guy and possible closer in 2011.
  17. Has anyone been to the one in Milwaukee yet? Would love to hear a review of the place or see pictures if anyone has any.
  18. The lineup I would like to see is: 1. Weeks - 2B 2. Escobar -SS 3. Braun - LF 4. Fielder - 1B 5. McGehee - 3B 6. Zaun - C 7. Hart - RF 8. Gomez -CF 9. Pitcher
  19. I would not go after Berkman, while a good player he is old and will still get big money. If Fielder is traded Gamel makes the most sense to play 1B. Especially with the way McGehee is playing, he will be the teams starting 3B for awhile.
  20. Davis is off the an awful start, but I still think he will settle in to his career norms before the season is over. No need to DFA him.
  21. Him along with Braun and Weeks. Those three guys are coming play every day and doing a good job. Oh yeah and Carlos V to.
  22. I say one or two wins in this series is an accomplishment with Bogut being out. If they somehow win it, it would be crazy and very awesome.
  23. Good point crewcrazy, I was not expecting them to beat Carpenter and they did, all be it barely after Hoffman almost blew. But they still won. So hopefully DD can find his groove tomorrow finally. He can't pitch any worse then he did his first two starts of the season.
  24. The wife and I had my parents, her Mom and her grandparents over today for some brats on the grill served up by yours truly. The Spotted Cow was flowing like wine and then after the Brewers laid that stinky turd today, it really started flowing. I love beer!
