  1. You live near near me then. I'm right across the river from Pick N Save. You can click on the "notify me" option and enter your e-mail address and they'll e-mail you when it's available at your address. But as far as I know there isn't a way to tell when a certain area is getting it. Give this number a call- 1-877-827-5288 (option 1, option 2). Somebody there may be able to better answer your question.
  2. Because they're still installing the facilities for it outside. In some cases AT&T was delayed because they had to work out the legal details with certain municipalities in order to get permission to do the installation. I know there are people a few blocks from me that can get it but it's not available at my address yet. So it doesn't seem to matter what central office you're served out of, it just depends if they've installed the big box near your address. You can keep checking here to see when it'll be available at your location- https://uverse1.att.com/launchAMSS.do
  3. He probably made himself sad by thinking about the time that he had a full ride to Stansbury on a football scholarship along with a car, and he turned them down...
  4. I'm not a sci-fi fan but I picked up "Ender's Game" last month because of how good I heard it is.
  5. Another one of my favorites is "Swan Song" by Robert McCammon. I read it ten years ago or so and gave it to somebody and just bought a new copy from B&N the other day. I never re-read books but I'm going to read this one again. It's a post apocalyptic masterpiece. If you liked "The Stand" (which I didn't) you'll be blown away by "Swan Song." Somebody a few pages back mentioned "Straight Man" by Richard Russo. I've read all of his books and that one is actually my least favorite (but still a good book). "The Risk Pool" is my favorite by him.
  6. Kansas City I suppose. But like somebody said that's obviously not an improvement.
  7. http://www.shepherd-express.com/1editorialbody.lasso?-token.folder=2007-08-16&-token.story=178057.113121&-token.subpub= We're all overreacting.
  8. Whoa. He gave a speech? Who'd a thunk it?http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/tongue.gif
  9. I saw Def Leppard there in '88 and I don't think we got out of lot until 3AM.
  10. Did they ever give a crap? The place has been a dump for as long as I can remember.
  11. Yep, I'm pretty sure that'll cover it BrewCrew.
  12. 41 cent stamps? Definitely. Actually one 58 cent stamp will suffice for both if you're only sending an 8x10. But if you add cardboard or the person you're sending it to adds cardboard or something along with it then it'd probably be a safe bet to add more postage. I sent out around 30 SASE's last month to different celebrities requesting an autographed photo. I only put 58 cents postage on both envelopes. That covers just your envelopes getting there but like I said, if they send you back something along with the photo it'll probably be over two ounces, hence the need for more postage. You'll probably get it back postage due anyhow, though. I only included my own photo in three of the 30 I sent out. I've gotten two of those back already (Marco Andretti & Danica Patrick). One was fine but the other was stamped "postage due." Which was odd because both were just my 8x10 and nothing else. I didn't get the little envelope or whatever you're supposed to get though with the postage due one. So yeah, anyhow, it sounds like you're good to go.
  13. Don't you have to first get a job at a union shop? You can't just join a union and then have them find you a job.
  14. I think he used to but not anymore. He was a co owner but that was a few years back.
  15. I was there. We were standing along the fence near 5 for awhile, during Atlantic qualifying I think. I didn't see anybody that looked like Robin though. For the ALMS race we were sitting in the area near turn 3. And then it started raining so we left. Back in '84 or '85 I was at Noah's Ark in the Dells with the park & rec department and Robin was there with his family.
  16. Yeah, exactly. Don't get me wrong. I don't need to be clubbed over the head with obviousness and explanations but come on. Make a little bit of sense once in awhile. It's like every episode is the same. I could forgive lack of coherence if the characters were more likable but most of them just annoy me.
  17. Looking to unload these for cash. They have the boxes but have been opened and Uecker has a chip out of the back of his jacket. 75 bucks maybe? Or is that out of line? I'm not sure what these go for. Or how much the chip affects the value. Thanks. Let me know if you're interested.
  18. It's about time. I really dislike this show even though I haven't stopped watching. It's not good. For the same reasons as AndThat mentioned before. De Mornay's character annoys the hell out of me the most. I think the only character I like is Steady Freddy. And Cass, only because I think she's really hot. And the girl that plays Kai does a pretty good job considering she's a surfer and not an actress.
  19. bandwagoner's ruin it for everyone. Except for the minor detail , that being the team's bottom line.
  20. I know there are special wireless keyboards that are made especially for the PS3 but is it possible to plug in a regular wired keyboard for gaming purposes? Sorry if this sounds stupid. I'm asking for somebody else. (added tag --1992)
  21. I generally agree but I might have to go see The Nanny Dairies based on this-http://movies.aol.com//movie/the-nanny-diaries/24462/video/trailer-no-1/1848757
  22. The Kuenn ball would probably be worth even more if it wasn't polluted by the other autograph.

  24. That was only for Uecker and Yount though. There's a bunch of different players at this thing. I'd say if you got in line at noon at the closest entrance you'd be fine.
  25. My father in law hosts a charity golf tournament too with a silent auction. I'll ask him this weekend.
